The Trinity The Touchstone of Truth

To all,
Many do not understand the G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') v. 1. to make empty STATE God was in as the EQUAL SHARE of HIMSELF while in that Flesh. please understand trinitarians, JW, or whoever you are. the spirit that was in Christ/the flesh and blood body is God in an EQUAL SHARED STATE. Listen,

Matthew 1:23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." many say God is ONE Spirit, but three person. if this is true, then question by scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:19 "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." STOP, God was in Christ? but was it not God, Matthew 1:23 in that body already? but so may say it was the Son, (Person) in that body at birth, and the person, (Father, at the baptism), for John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." ok, if the Father was in Him, and the Spirit descend on and in him at baptism, so question time. "How much of the ONE Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') v. 1. to make empty ,for the ONE in that body of flesh and blood?" how much? ...... 1/3 of the Spirit called God. or was it 1/2 of the Spirit. or all of the Spirit? which one. 101G say, all of the Spirit in the H259 ECHAD was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō').

now if anyone says a certain percentage of the Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') for the son to come in flesh, then you have a divided God which is not biblical. and if the ONE Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō'), who was UPHOLD the universe/all creation.

looking to hear from anyone.

No human became the Son of God.
So Jesus is not the Son of God? I think Jesus and God disagree. The Son of Man is the Son of God. The Human Jesus is the same exact person as the Son of God. This is important.

Matthew 13
13When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Romans 1
4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

A human that could cast out demons. That could raise the dead. That could heal the sick.. (although some claim to do that today) .
That COULD WALK ON WATER. That could be raised from the dead, appear to people, and then go sit on the Fathers right hand.

WOWWZERS..... I bet even Wheaties cant claim to do that for people.

Wonder what he ate... this human ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Didn't the other disciples do the same exact things? Didn't Peter walk on water too? They're all humans buddy.

so we can take this as you have no scripture to rebut? thought so, and as for the TRUTH.... do you really KNOW what "ALONR" and "BY HIMSELF" means? please get a dictionary.

You have been CORRECTED by the WORD of GOD

Now you are making excuses to comfort your UNBELIEF and STUBBORNESS

Why default to sin???

You are wrong for any account of Peter walking on water. He walked on water at the invitation of Jesus, not just his own power, as if this were something humans normally do. Next, when he was sinking, he prayed to Jesus (Matt 14:30). It was his lack of faith in Jesus that was rebuked. It was Jesus' provision that let Peter walk on water --still not something of humans.

Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Which came FIRST???

Slight hijack......

he prayed to Jesus (Matt 14:30)

Yippee.... Chalk this on up to those who say Jesus was not prayed to.tipping_hat_smiley.gif

You are wrong to say that Jesus walked on water under his own power. Scripture is clear the Jesus got his power from God. Same with Peter.

Also, you said Peter prayed to Jesus when he spoke to him. So Jesus prayed to Peter too? You can't have it both ways.

It is apparent you do not think things through sufficiently when you equalize what Peter asked of Jesus and what Jesus commanded Peter to do. Jesus did not need Peter's power to invite Peter to walk on water. Jesus did not ask Peter for ability to walk on water. The prayer of Peter was in faith toward Jesus.

Actually, yes Jesus did require the faith of those present to do miracles as you can see in Matt 13:58. Did you notice that Peter couldn't continue walking on water when he lost faith? He lost the power to do what he needed to do.

Look, the power comes from God, not Jesus. Isn't this very clear?

Acts 2
22Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Indeed the power is from God since we know of the divinity of Jesus in the Godhead. Thanks for supporting what I shared. Peter asked Jesus as Lord to save him. And Jesus saved him.
And thanks for confirming Jesus' humanity also. It sort of speaks against you when you have to use the preaching about Jesus to deny the passages sharing the deity of Christ.

Yes and the same exact miracles Jesus did others did too. Got it now? That means Jesus isn't God. He was a man doing the same, identical, things as the others. He even said they are sons of God too and can also be resurrected. Wow. Seeing it yet? Jesus is the example of what we can attain or become.

Personal opinions ... 101G can careless about. now 101G gave scripture, and definition. see, ALONE means, having no one else present: that just KILLED your whole belief system.

so Personal opinions are useless against:whistle: 101G.......NOW TRY AGAIN,,,, WITH SCRIPTURE

You are again denying the evidence of Peter praying to Jesus to save him. And it was by the third person of the Trinity that the Apostles could do these works. There are never the powers inherent to being humans. You are suggesting not on a Unitarian heresy but also a word of faith heresy. That is the problem expected when people deny the testimony of scripture or, at least, are confused in their reading of scripture.

this is the problem. men have no clue to the term "Son of Man" and "Son of God". The Son of Man, (Spirit), came out of Heaven. The Son of God (flesh) came out of Mary.

see Isaiah 9:6 and UNDERSTAND.
