Yet when they were born sinners and ungodly, thy were already delivered from the wrath to come by not their believing, but the death/blood of Christ. Rom 8:32

Those whom Christ was delivered up for have the following blessings freely given them,
1 Cor 1:30
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption:
Yes these blessings automatically come with the giving of Christ for sinners,
Wisdom Eph 1:17

The Greek word menō translated "abide" often deals with being in him, which I'm very concerned about when it comes to walking in Christ, which I believe is the same as walking in the spirit. To be in him or to abide in him deals with remaining or continuing to be present. To dwell, live, and be within him to the end that we are operative in him by his divine influence and energy. My first red flag that started me looking into how to do this was when I realized it's the Catholics that teach we are sinners. They teach us to look at ourselves and our sin. I teach that we should look at Christ and to walk in his spirit.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Then Christ didn't die for them, for following Him is a benefit of His Death

The elect were put in Christ Jesus before the foundation, 1 Cor 1:30
30 But of him[The Father] are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Paul called them the chosen a few verses earlier 1 Cor 1:27
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
That word chosen is the same greek word Eph 1:4
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Both times its aorist middle indicative, God made this choice for Himself putting them in Christ, so that settles that rabbit trail.
