Eternal Justification !

Justified by Eternal Purpose in Christ before creation

Thats why it can be said of the elect of God which cant be said of the non elect vessels of wrath 1 Thess 5:9-10

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep,
we should live together with him.

God could not have appointed them to wrath, that would have been contrary to the eternal purpose in Christ before creation, wherein Christ was already slain for their sins and Justified by His Blood.

Hence those Christ died for are not appointed to wrath as others !

According to you, one need not believe to be a sheep

Hello
John 6:65 says, " ... For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."

However, here's how Calvinists "read" it:

For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me, unless they have been forced to by the Father, because He needed to be sure that the ones He calls His elect would in fact be saved, whether they wanted to be or not.

Calvinists "read" it: Unbiblically

What's needed is revelation

Given revelation man can come

Romans 10:8–17 (KJV 1900) — 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

How do you know you are saved? Not by your behaviour, but because you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.

HE is salvation. The faith in Him is what got you converted. Not your good behaviour.

Gods Elect are Justified from everlasting simply as Gods Elect Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth

How long have they been God's Elect or Chosen? Since before the foundation of the World Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:12

And of course Justification from everlasting means without question Justification before faith, and while being ungodly Rom 4:5

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

This scripture proves that God justified some while being ungodly !

But not eternally

Ephesians 2:1–3 (NASB 2020) — 1 And you were dead in your offenses and sins, 2 in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.

Yes Eternally, When was Jesus made Responsible for their sins ?

That passage there has nothing to do when Christ was made responsible for their sins, being their surety Heb 7:22

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

What is a surety here ? When was He made a Surety for a better testament /covenant ? What covenant ?

2 Tim 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Not only are the Elect of God Justified before God before the world began, by His Purpose and Grace, so are they saved before the world began by the same Purpose and Grace. Notice Paul wrote "who saved us, then called us"

Justified before the foundation of the world because God hath chosen us [The elect] in Him as early Eph 1:3-4

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

And due to that, God made them accepted in Him as early Eph 1:6

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Which grace was given us in the beloved before the world began 2 Tim 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

And so if accepted in Him that early, then we were Justified in the beloved as early !

How can one be justified and dead in sin at the same time?

Ephesians 2:1–3 (NASB 2020) — 1 And you were dead in your offenses and sins, 2 in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.

John Gill writes:

When Christ became a Surety for his people, their sins were no longer imputed to them, but were imputed to Christ, were placed to his account, and he became responsible for them; it was not, at the time of his sufferings and death, that God laid on him first the iniquities of his people, and they were imputed and reckoned to him, and he accounted them as his own, #2Co 5:19 Isa 53:6 Ps 40:12 69:5 by which it appears, that obligation to payment of debts, or punishment, did not lie upon the principal debtor, or guilty person, but upon Christ, who became their Surety;

Justification in the mind and purpose of God:

Romans 8:29
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Here we see the matter of justification as is it viewed in God’s eternal mind and purpose. God in eternity past sovereignly chose a people in Christ and determined to justify them based on the righteousness of Christ. His purpose was and is to glorify Himself in the salvation of sinners based on the righteousness of Christ. In Romans 8:30 it says that all whom God foreordained and predestinated to be conformed to Christ, He also called, justified, and glorified. All of these blessings which are earned by Christ for His people are spoken of in past tense, as if they had already occurred. Yet, many of God’s elect had not even been born at this time.

How, then, could it be said that they are already called, justified, and glorified?

We must make a distinction between God’s eternal purpose before time and what God accomplishes in His elect in time. It is true that in the mind and purpose of God, His elect have always been saved, called, justified, and glorified, not in their own persons but in the mind and purpose of God. It has always been so sure and certain that they would be saved, called, justified, and eternally glorified, that it is sometimes spoken of in past tense as if it had already taken place. It has always been so sure and certain because it was never conditioned on them. It was always conditioned on the sovereign grace and power of God who cannot fail and on the Person and work of Christ who is faithful to His Father.

I dont know the author of this article, however its truth according to the Scripture
