Who is Jesus?

Even the High Priest knew that to claim to be the Messiah, the Son of God, which Jesus did - was a claim to be God. Matthew 26:63-65 and Mark 14:61-63 Jesus also told him that he would see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of heaven. The High Priest in both passages accused Jesus of blasphemy - basically making Himself equal with God - just like the apostle John tells us He did in John 5:18.

If Jesus was not God, then He really was guilty of blasphemy, but since He is God, there is no blasphemy.
Matthew 26:63... “that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.” What the Jews asked Jesus at his trial, and how Jesus answered, is good evidence that Jesus never claimed to be God and that there is no Trinity. Trinitarians often say that Jesus was claiming to be God, but there is no clear evidence that is true. Here is clear evidence that the priests thought Jesus was claiming to be the Messiah, the Son of God, and they did not think that “Son of God” was in any way equivalent to “God.”

.

In order for Jesus to be fully man/human he would have to be one of Adam's
paternal descendants, i.e. biologically related to Adam. Not all Christians
are comfortable with that possibility.
_
Really? Please give scripture to show that that is the case. I don't think you'll find any.

Actually, it only takes one piece of evidence to show that He was fully man - that it, the Bible calls Him a man. Jesus called Himself a man. That's good. We need nothing else.

The apostle John did: John 5:18 This is the apostle John speaking: "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father (that means the Son of God), making Himself EQUAL with God."
So He was saying that He was equivalent to God.

Again, there's no teaching on this anywhere in the Bible. No pages or a few chapters. Only twisted verses scattered around that make no sense.
“but also was calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.” This verse shows us that Jesus knew who he was and what he was doing. Some theologians teach that Jesus either never claimed to be the promised Messiah, or that he only took on the role of Messiah when he realized that the people thought he was the Messiah. But the truth is that Mary and Joseph knew Jesus was the Messiah and raised Jesus that way, and every indication in Scripture is that Jesus knew he was the Messiah, taught that to his disciples, and lived his life in obedience to the will of his heavenly Father.

Some Trinitarians claim that John 5:18 is evidence that Jesus was God because it speaks of Jesus making himself equal with God. But that is not what the verse is saying. The people in the time and culture of the Bible knew that children often carried the authority of the family. For example, the son of a king had great authority. The Jews knew that if Jesus was claiming that God was his Father, then he was also claiming to be the Messiah, and had authority both in this age and in the age to come.

Actually, John 5:18 is unsupportive of the doctrine of the Trinity. It accurately records that Jesus was saying that “God” was his father, not that he was himself God, or that he was “God the Son.” Jesus’ authority came from the fact that he was the Son of God, not God Himself.

Jesus is the son of IEUE
who came to this earth through the same path as we,
but willingly taking that step down...
and passing through what is Daniel's oven
which is the torture of us after the fall
when Adam turned us over to the Demon nations
(in the other reality.)

Jesus took a huge step down,
incarnating in this underworld dungeon
(where we are imprisoned since then
on this earth not made by God)
and he making it Possible At All
for us to escape from here,
and meet Christ on the clouds soon,
and be restored to our eden paradise, soon,
which all the sons will rebuild with Christ...
Lovely

GINOLJC, to all.
people, people, people, please Listen and LEARN. the Lord Jesus is "GOD" .... himself, shared in flesh .... equally. this is what's called the ECHAD, the Hebrew term H259. and this equally sharing of his "OWN SELF" is clearly understood in the definition of H259 ECHAD. listen to the definition,
Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:"
the term "ONE" is the Hebrew word,
H259 אֶחָד 'echad (ech-awd') adj.
1. (properly) united, i.e. one.
2. (as an ordinal) first.
[a numeral from H258]
KJV: a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any(-thing), apiece, a certain, (dai-)ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only, other, some, together.
Root(s): H258

notice definition #2 above. 101G is using the Mickelson's Enhanced Strong's Dictionaries of the Greek and Hebrew Testaments. definition #2 says it all about God as "ONE" ....... he is the ORDINAL of himself in flesh the EQUAL SHARE of himself. supportive scripture, Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me." HIS "OWN" ARM?"...... not a separate ARM, not a distinct ARM, but HIS, HIS, own ARM meaning HIM. he is HIM shared equally in human flesh, now resurrected in glorified flesh. the NEW MAN. this is just too easy not to miss. the "UNITY" is in "EQUALLY SHARING" of one's own self. BINGO.

now read Isaiah chapter 53, and please notice the very first verse. and see his OWN ARM in ACTION.

Why do you see stuff that is not there concerning The LORD our God is one LORD? The word "Lord" was another name for God. There are many descriptions, titles, and names for God in the Bible and I would like to add God’s proper name is “Yahweh” which occurs more than 6,000 times in the Hebrew Old Testament and is generally translated as “LORD.” But God is also referred to as Elohim, Adonai, El Shaddai, the Ancient of Days, the Holy One of Israel, Father, Shield, and by many more designations. Furthermore, God is holy (Leviticus 11:44), which is why He was called “the Holy One” (the Hebrew text uses the singular adjective “holy” to designate “the Holy One." He is also spirit (John 4:24). It makes perfect sense since God is holy and God is spirit that “Holy”and “Spirit” are sometimes combined and used as one of the many designations for God.

You just get done reading that the apostle John tells us that Jesus made Himself equal with God, and then deny that the Bible teaches us that Jesus is God. Then you claim that those verses that tell us that Jesus is God are "twisted and scattered around and they make no sense". That description of the word of God is quite derogatory. If that's how you feel about those verses, it's no wonder that you either deny them or totally ignore them, which also explains your mistaken theology.
You want pages or a few chapters. Sorry, but you don't always get what you want. You either accept what God's word says or you reject it. Obviously, you have chosen the latter.

The reason there's no pages, chapters or even a couple of paragraphs teaching the trinity is because there is no trinity. You have to take bits and pieces of half verses scattered all over the Bible to try and teach a trinity. If there really was a trinity God would have clearly had it taught. And He did not do that.

You mean the same way He used pages, chapters and even a couple of paragraphs to teach us that He was the Messiah, the Son of God?

When you get to heaven, you'll have plenty of time to tell God what He should have done.

I don't need to tell God He should have taught something that is not there. I already know He does not teach what's not there.

ok, answer me this. "God, the one Spirit, the ONE TRUE GOD was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō'), according to Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:" now, how much of the "ONE" Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō')?

was it 1/3, (for the Son) or 1/2 of the Spirit, or all of the Spirit that was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') while in flesh. remember he, the Lord Jesus is EQUAL ... "WITH" God, per Philippians 2:6. so tell us how much of the "ONE" Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') to come in flesh your answer please.
