Who is Jesus?

ok, answer me this. "God, the one Spirit, the ONE TRUE GOD was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō'), according to Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:" now, how much of the "ONE" Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō')?

was it 1/3, (for the Son) or 1/2 of the Spirit, or all of the Spirit that was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') while in flesh. remember he, the Lord Jesus is EQUAL ... "WITH" God, per Philippians 2:6. so tell us how much of the "ONE" Spirit was G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') to come in flesh your answer please.

101G.
I only speak English and so I don't know what G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') is. But I understand the equal word. Is there some reason you think Jesus is equal with God? Is that what you think Philippians 2:6 says?

“Considering being equal with God not something to be grasped at.”

Translated that way, the phrase is a powerful argument against the Trinity. If Jesus were God, then it would make no sense at all to say that he did not “grasp” at equality with God because no one grasps at equality with himself. It only makes sense to compliment someone for not seeking equality when he is not equal. Some Trinitarians say, “Well, he was not grasping for equality with the Father.” That is not what the verse says. It says Christ did not grasp at equality with God, which makes the verse nonsense if he were God.

My point is Peter said you are the Christ (Messiah) the son of God. Peter did not say you are God or the deity or part of a God man.
And as the Disciples became more mature in the faith, that statement turned into "My Lord and My God!" Let's see what excuse you come up with to deny this

I have a lot of questions about Jesus and the bible answers them all. Who do you say he is?

Who is the seed (offspring) of the woman who crushes the head of Satan?
Jesus Christ.
Who is the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that will eventually bless all nations?
That inheritance of which part is the blessing of all "nations" refers first to the twelve sons of Jacob and their descendants; and, "all nations" is limited to those descendants that are Abraham's seed through Ishmael (twelve sons and their descendants), and Esau (who as the older gave up his birthright for a bowl of food to Jacob, who as prophesied was the younger and would head the family to whom the Promise was made. The reason why "nations" refers to Abraham's seed through Ishmael and Abraham's grandson, Esau, is because of its use in Genesis 17:

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee (meaning Abraham.)
Gen. 17:6.

and

16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
Gen. 17:16.

"Nations" later came to refer to Gentiles or non-Hebrew Gentiles completely unassociated with Abraham's seed but are descendant of Ham and Japheth, Noah's other two sons and (Shem being the family line from which was separated to God and through whom Abram the Hebrew was born.)

Sarah was the married niece of Abraham from the same family line of Eber (Gen. 10:21-32; 11:10-26.) Here, "nations" cannot mean "non-Hebrew Gentiles" because it would be quite impossible for a non-Hebrew Gentile to be born of two Hebrew parents. So, look for the language changes in Scripture as seen here to make correct conclusions of word meanings and their use.
Who is the “prophet like Moses” of whom God says, “You must listen to him”?
Jesus of Nazareth from the tribe of Judah.
Who is the one crucified?
Jesus bar Joseph (along with two others on either side of Jesus during His crucifixion, but you asked about the "one.")
Who is the child that is God and will have an everlasting kingdom?
The King of the Jews Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Who was crushed and pierced for our transgressions?
Jesus of Nazareth.
Upon whom did the Lord lay the iniquity of all mankind?
Jesus, the Son of God.
Who is the righteous Branch, the wise King, who will be called “the Lord our righteousness”?
Jesus the Christ.
Who is the “Anointed One” to be “cut off” after 483 years?
Jesus Messiah from Nazareth.
Who is the one who is eternal, who will be the ruler over Israel, who is born in Bethlehem Ephrathah?
Jesus bar Joseph.
Who is Jehovah, “the one they have pierced,” for whom Jerusalem and all the nation of Israel will weep and mourn?
Jesus bar Joseph.
No one can deny that the Bible itself claims to be the unique revelation of God: “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work”2 Timothy 3:16-17
Correct-o-mundo.
Scripture is first and foremost for doctrine.
That Scripture being the Hebrew Scripture of Law, Psalms, and Prophets.

GINOLJC, to all
I speak English too. so, get an ENGLISH Dictionary and look up the term, no reputation in Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:" and it means,
G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') v.
1. to make empty.
2. (figuratively) to abase, neutralize, falsify.

[from G2756]
KJV: make (of none effect, of no reputation, void), be in vain
Root(s): G2756

this is plain English. now to understand this neutralization, or to be made EMPTY. we need to Go to Hebrews 2:9 "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."

this is why he, JESUS was made LOWER, or was neutralize or to be made EMPTY according to Philippians 2:7. now the revelation that 101G asked you....... if the Lord Jesus was MADE LOWER that the angels, then before, he had to be HIGHER than the angels before, correct. now there are only three entities, God, the angels, and us humans. now deductive reasoning, it reveals that the Lord Jesus had to be God, in order to be MADE LOWER that the angels.

so my original question still stands. "HOW MUCH OF THE ONE SPIRIT WAS G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō'), (see the definition above), or was MADE ENPTY in order for the Lord JESUS to come in flesh? your answer please.

Don't get ahead of me because I'm still on Philippians 2:7. Are you saying that the son of God who is the Messiah did not want to make a big deal about himself means he's God? How does that make sense?

Below is Philippians 2:5-8... Show me which verse says Jesus emptied himself. I understand if this is your last time wanting to ask me data or converse with me. Many people feel that way because they make up words and concepts that are not in the Bible and often get mad at me when I ask for the Scripture.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

being made in human likeness.

κενόωb: to completely remove or eliminate elements of high status or rank by eliminating all privileges or prerogatives associated with such status or rank.

What Paul makes very clear in this passage is that in addition to being God, He became man. The Incarnation was not a subtraction of His deity but an addition of humanity to His nature. This passage does not say Jesus gave up His deity but that He laid aside His rights as Deity, assuming the form of a servant in verse 7. The text says He was in the form of God or being in the very nature of God in 2:6. Just as He took upon Himself the "form of a servant" which is a servant by nature, so the "form of God" is God by nature. The word "being" from the phrase: being in the very form of God is a present active participle. This means "continued existence" as God. What Paul is actually saying here is Jesus has always been and still is in the "form of God". If you continue reading the passage Paul really drives this point home so that his readers have no doubt what he is trying to get across to the Philippians. Paul says that every knee will bow and will one day Confess Jesus is LORD. Paul takes the passage in Isaiah 45:23 which clearly refers to Yahweh a name used for God alone and says this of Jesus. The fulfillment of YHWH in Isaiah 45 is none other than Jesus who is God(Yahweh) in the flesh.

He self limited His divine prerogatives via the Incarnation as per Phil 2. In other words did not use them to His advantage but was in submission to the Father for 33 years to accomplish our salvation. All the FULLNESS of DEITY dwells in bodily form. Col 1:19;2:9. Jesus was and is fully God lacking nothing in His Deity.

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

Even through Christ existed in the form of God He did not regard equality with God something that He needed to reach for or grasp. Why because it was already His and never gave that up for a millisecond.

Paul is using syllogisms from the text in Philippians 2.

Just as the term “form of God” in verse six does not mean “less than God” because of the phrase “equality with God" in the prior passage.

It goes to reason in the same way with the 2 phrases in the “form of a servant” and in the “likeness of man” in verse seven do not mean that Jesus was any “less than human,” but instead means He was the same or “equal with all humans.”

That is how the passage reads and how it is to be understood in its " CONTEXT ".

In Colossians 1:19 and Colossians 2:9 the Apostle Paul said, For in HIM (CHRIST) ALL of the “ fullness of deity dwells bodily. “Did Paul use the word fullness there to mean partially? NO as Jesus did not empty Himself of His Deity. Jesus Divinity is FULL, complete lacking in nothing. The ENTIRE Fullness of Deity dwells (is present) bodily in Jesus.

conclusion:When Jesus came to earth He laid aside or emptied Himself of something. There are many misconceptions at to what He set aside. It was not His Deity. Jesus could not empty Himself of His Deity - He could not stop being God. He was always God the Son. He could not exchange His Deity for His humanity. Neither did He set aside only some of His divine attributes and keep others. In addition, Jesus always knew He was God and possessed these divine attributes - He was not ignorant of who He was or what He could do. Moreover Jesus allowed the people to know that He had such powers. Neither did Jesus set aside the use of His relative attributes such as being all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere present. Those powers were always present with Him.When Jesus became a human being He divested Himself of certain rights as God the Son. This can be seen in three ways. First He restricted Himself to a human body with all its limitations. He gave up His position when He became a human being. Second He veiled or hid His glory from the people. Finally, He exercised His relative attributes only by the will of God the Father - never on His own initiative.

hope this helps !!!

I don't see Jesus emptying anything and how you do is beyond my intelligence. If I was God and I wanted to come down as a man and I wanted it known without it being a Catholic mystery. 101G, you are greatly mistaken. Stephen said he saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Acts 7:56 These were his last words before being stoned. Do you think he was lying and making up a fictitious story? No, of course not. This in itself shows that Jesus IS sitting at the right hand of God, but then we are told that in other verses too. It's too bad you don't believe those verses. The only reason He was standing was because He was getting ready to welcome Stephen home after his martyrdom.

The words in the NASB are"emptied Himself".
Fortunately, you're not God. And yet Jesus is.
Now I see where you're getting this from. A different Bible than what I read and so I had to look into this and this is what I found. Philippians 2:7 is not speaking either of Christ’s giving up his God-hood at his incarnation or of his God-nature being willing to “hide” so that his man-nature can show itself clearly. Scripture says Christ was the “image of God” and Jesus himself testified that if one had seen him, he had seen the Father. Saying that Christ was in the “form” (outward appearance) of God is simply stating that truth in another way. Unlike Adam, who grasped at being like God, Christ the Last Adam, “emptied himself” of all his reputation and the things due him as the true child of the King. He lived in the same fashion as other men. He humbled himself to the will of God. He lived by “It is written” and the commands of his Father. He did not “toot his own horn” but instead called himself “the son of man, which in the Aramaic language he spoke meant “a man.” He trusted God and became obedient even to a horrible and shameful death on a cross.

as a friend, you have no clue, do you? listen, Son of God the Flesh, bone, and blood came out of Mary. via the Holy Spirit, (per Matthews 1:20). the Son of Man has no beginning, and no ending, without blood, without flesh, and without bone, and came from Heaven, (God, the Wors, the Son of Man). do you now understand? if not, the Son of God, (flesh, the body, the temple), took on the identity of the spirit, (the Person, God, Son of Man), for God is a Spirit, John 4:24a. and he God, (in the ECHAD, of a G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') state, dwelt in that body as a man. 101G see that you had no clue of the Son of God and the Son of Man. but now we hope you do. if you have any question, as a friend, by God will answer your questions.

now, knowing this, 101G question still stands. which is, "How much of the ONE Spirit was," G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') v. 1. to make empty.
2. (figuratively) to abase, neutralize, falsify.
[from G2756]
KJV: make (of none effect, of no reputation, void), be in vain
Root(s): G2756

while in that human flesh of a body called the messiah? your answer please.
101G
