The Elect

I used to live in Hawaii They have this thing they do over there They call "Talk Story". It's where you sit around and have a conversation except the conversation is about stories of things that happened in your life. I have one on the Topic of scoffing it's right in At the end.

So this one night I was out late I parked my car and walked across the street There were no other cars Insight except for this police car was parked about half a block away. He pulls out puts the lights on and gives me a ticket for jaywalking. I had business in another state and was leaving the next day. I forgot all about the ticket.

Couple years later I get arrested for a warrant for failure to appear for jaywalking and I'm putting the LA county jail. The next day They put me in a bus and drove me out to Van Nuys Courthouse. On the bus everyone is discussing what their charges were They were "Talking Story". Anyway they got around to me and ask me what my charges were. I wanted to sound tough like them so I said in a real tough voice "Jaywalking... With Priors"

If you have prior convictions, it's more severe. I had the whole bus cracking up.

The point is scoffing is like jaywalking. I mean if you're going to point the finger at someone Try to do better than that. I mean seriously Look where we are. If a little bit of Scoffing is so offensive you should get offline and watch the Hallmark Channel.

It was one of the dumbest laws and I'm glad its no longer illegal in California. The freedom to walk act made it legal.

So it that poster was indeed scoffing you believe that God ordained that he would do so. No need for you to get upset then with anything he or anyone might say then right? For you to get upset, mad or grieved would be to resist the will of God for you believe all things are ordained? But then maybe God wants you grieved ? But then that leaves you at a dead end so what are you to do?
Im not upset, God did ordain the scoffing you are doing, and He still holds you accountable for it !

I believe I always at least seek to put down Calvinists beliefs and usually not the person as I said in my post 1287 where I said, No offence to you personally

But OK you've made your assertion and I'll make mine. I do believe you and ones who hold to your position will likewise have to give account for the misinformation you put out about the character of God. I'm not claiming it will be heaven or hell related I'll let God be the judge of that but to even have on your conscious mind forever that you claimed God didn't love sinners oh my,, my, my, my, my!

And at least in regard to me you of course will be the first to pray to God, Father forgive them for they know not at what they do! But then you Calvinists would be at a lose to know now God did you ordain me to pray that because I did pray it? And if he did ordain you to pray it but didn't do it ......so he had you pray meaningless prayers? Point Calvinism takes one to a dead end with no way to rationally think about anything. Buyer beware.

See you at the Judgment.

See you at the Judgment.
You keep saying that to everybody. It's not really a good look on you. Makes you seem kind of hypocritical and judgmental. Please try to post something intelligent and useful. Something Uplifting that edifies the body of Christ.

See you at the judgment Is like "Woe to you". Stop trying to judge another person's salvation.

“Do not judge, so that you will not be judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Matthew 7:1-3

Who are you to condemn God's servants? They are responsible to the Lord, so let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. The Lord's power will help them do as they should. Romans 14:4

We all will be before the Judgment seat of Christ, so what in the world you talking about ? You just judged me. I dont judge people personally to hell 1 Cor 5:10

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

So I will see you at the Judgment hero

@Rockson

Does God love these sinners ? Ps 5:5

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Right... That's why he sent his son Jesus. Try jumping to Romans Paul will tell you what salvation is all about. And when you get to Romans 9 have someone explain it to you that knows the truth. Like a non calvinist.

See your doing it again right there. When you say "see you at the judgment seat" you're trying to cast condemnation on someone and you don't even realize it how sad.

When you say you don't judge personally anyone to help what you're using is an innuendo. Just so you understand that means "an allusive or oblique remark or hint, typically a suggestive or disparaging one"

You trying to play mind games and you're really not very good at it. Yes that's judgmental. But it includes substantial evidence.

And you judge people all the time. Every time you say that God only loves the elect you're judging anyone that's not a communist and inferring that God doesn't love them.

Did He love these sinners Ps 5:5
Would you like me to give you a Bible study. No problem I can do that. Chew on this, it's meat.

Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers. Ps 5:5.

According to this verse, the boastful will not stand in God's presence. Those who praise themselves instead of God will not stand in God's presence. Psalm 1:5 mentions this fact too. It says, "the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous." Absalom, whom David was fleeing, was boastful and arrogant (2 Samuel 15:1–6).

Second Samuel 15:4 reports that he would say, "Oh that I were judge in the land! Then every man with a dispute or cause might come to me, and I would give him justice." Jesus told the story of a proud Pharisee who went to the temple and boasted about his self-righteousness but was rejected by God (Luke 18:9–14). Jesus said, "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled" (Luke 18:14).

Scripture tells us God hates all evildoers (see also Psalm 11:5). The word "hate" may seem harsh, but we must try to understand how abhorrent evil is in God's eyes. Murderers, liars, and deceivers such as those who wanted to destroy David are totally detestable to God and therefore merit His righteous, holy hatred.

Now the good news for evildoers:
16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. Romans 1:16–17.

Yes I agree and I know that you put up with more than your share. And yet you still stand up for what you believe in a respectful manner. My hats off to you.(y)
thank you

my only desire is souls to meet Him
..I want to encourage every soul
of Him...

... and I feel often theology gets in the way
of that...
... once on another forum I said
that Christ did not ever debate
(a greek form
and nowhere does he carry on
with theological type logical arguing)

it's true... He never did. He has God's
authority and answered questions
and said things
but never as a form of arguing.
God's concepts are not debatable...
though people not hearing Him
is always possible..

this concept of argument
was construed through the concept of 'correction'
but that concept is incorrect as
carried forward these days...

1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.

God's way of counting is ripening of the barley...
and it helps us find, further from there, the day of unleavened ...
which is the day the elect leave this earth

that day will be our salvation..
from this matrix zoo
'the world'

and all His ones will meet Christ on the clouds
and go home and rebuild our eden

but that day is also the day
when this sun goes dark..
and many believers (jacob) are left behind
for not listening to Him

per darby they go to hell

not true.
though they do suffer much,
and missed rapture, God will
send all His elect back here
as the two witnesses to comfort
them and after their so much suffering in tribulation
they will go Home
...

the key is that no soul living in the self
can enter paradise..
or we would have another fall, no?

and many will die to the Self
and finally meet Him during tribulation
