The Calvinists misunderstanding of the New Birth as taught by Jesus to Nicodemus

Men don't seek God naturally but if they have grace they might. But seeking doesn't mean they are already born again. They could resist.

Acts 17:27 (KJV) That they should *seek* the Lord, if *haply* they might *feel after him*, and find him, though he be *not far* from every one of us:
Sure the grace of regeneration, unless that occurs first, they cant and wont seek the True God,idols yes, but the True God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, never !

God is not far from everyone of us. So the grace of regeneration is there for every one of us.. But it doesn't guarantee salvation. Some refuse.

Acts 17:27 (KJV) That they should *seek* the Lord, if *haply* they might *feel after him*, and find him, though he be *not far* from every one of us:

Acts 17:27 (KJV) That they should *seek* the Lord, if *haply* they might *feel after him*, and find him, though he be *not far* from every one of us:
False God doesnt regenerate everyone, only His Elect, and if a person seeks after the True God, God has already sought the person first and regenerated them, otherwise, none seek after the True God Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

"Regeneration preceding faith".....is stating that this verse is a lie.....= "Faith is counted by God"

See, God's Gift of Salvation, is based on Him initially accepting the BELIEVERS Faith....In Christ.

So, when you teacn that you are accepted by God.... before you give God your faith in Christ... then you are teaching that God forgives your sin, before you gave Him the Faith He requires, first to then Forgive you.

Regeneration (being born again), before you give God your faith, is literally teaching that HOLY God Joins Himself to an unforgiven sinner, Spiritually,..so that later, .. and already born again.....they can THEN give God their Faith.

THat teaching is not only a Demonic False Gospel....., its literally Theological INSANITY.

Calvin was insane, and His Theology, and the "5-Points" and Hyper Calvinism, will do the same to YOUR Theology, once it owns your mind...Reader.

Except under God's grace.

God's grace initially brings the lost to a decision, not salvation. It doesn't guarantee salvation. Then if his decision is positive God will bring a him to salvation, guaranteed. That is His elect.

faith is the fruit of regeneration, for faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

He causes His elect to seek Him,Jacob Isa 45 19

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

You friend will be in for a rude awakening in the day of Judgment when you realize the five points, were none other than truths in scripture that set forth the Gospel of Gods Grace.

God doesnt regenerate everyone, only His Elect, and if a person seeks after the True God, God has already sought the person first and regenerated them, otherwise, none seek after the True God Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
He causes His elect to seek Him,Jacob Isa 45 19

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isa 45:19 doesn't say which ones God causes to seek Him. Thus there is no unconditional election. But those who are righteousness are His elect.

If you flipped a coin and you get what you want then you caused it. But it doesn't mean you selected it to turn up heads.

God's cause here thus conforms to prevenient grace.

Isa 45:19 merely says God didn't order them to seek in vain ie that gives no results ie false gods. But He said go the right way.

Isaiah 45:19 (KJV) I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:
I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isa 45:19 doesn't say which ones God causes to seek Him.

It says it to me, thats what Im going by. Isa 45:19,25

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Its an imperative to a specific/Justified people, the chosen seed

25 In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

And it still remains a fact, man by nature doesnt seek after the True God Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Ps 14 2,3

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The correct translation/interpretation:

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Its both that are true, faithfulness is the extension of faith, its still the fruit of the Spirit.

Yes, but not through the Calvinist concept of election. Faith is the fruit of the Spirit in the sense that the Holy Spirit is the source of the written revelation, the Bible, through which "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ".

@Jim

"faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ".

Hearing comes from being regenerated by the Spirit, one cant hear spiritually except they are of God Jesus says Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

To be of God means to be saved. You have to be saved to have the spiritual hearing of Rom 10:17

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If you are trying to connect the "natural man" in 1 Corinthians 2 to the unregenerate, you are simply wrong as you are in so much.

What is Calvinism:

Calvinism is a system of false doctrine that is taught in most evangelical denominations.
There are 5 major points of Calvinism. These 5 points are known by the acronym: T.U.L.I.P.
None of the 5 point are taught in the Bible.
All five points must be accepted or rejected as a unit. Refute any one element and the whole system falls! ("Domino Theology")

Im not trying to do nothing, just stating an obvious fact which you are denying, that Faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 522

Joh 8:31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,
Another obvious fact you are resisting, denying, that hearing of the word of God comes from being of God, saved/regenerated. Jn 8:47

Many believed on Jesus carnally during his earthly ministry, but only for food and stuff like that, but only the believers who were of God were true believers, His Sheep
