Its very difficult.. once Calvin has someone's mind....to get them to understand that God KNOWING everything that is going to happen NEXT..., is not the same as God pre-destining everything to occur.
That is their "bewitching" that Calvin puts on them.
They can't SEE THAT....as He blinds their mind .... regarding that simple understanding.
Yes men come to be in Christ in time when they believe
It is only then they receive the blessing that accrue in Christ

I would change your second sentence slightly to
God determined believers to be conformed to the image of His Son. Who alone is Holy and Blameless in love.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
God predetermined that man would be conformed to the image of His Son. All of it begins with Christ. Beginning and end. Alpha and Omega.
It's all part of the blessings which are in Christ
