Refuting effectually caused faith

was he a believer ? yes or no

end of discussion

Yes he was a believer, and loved by God. So he died from a sickness, and as Jesus said to his sisters Lazarus is dead Jn 11:14

Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

so now, did Lazarus raise himself from the dead ?

so your dead theory is mute.

For dead people dont raise themselves from the dead. Dead people cant believe in Jesus Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Were dead in sins is in the present tense occurring at that time, its during that time Gods Grace quickened, made alive, that's effectual grace,

Hence they believe by Grace Eph 2:8; Acts 18:27 Dead people dont believe, they dead !
God does when they believe

and you are still contradicted by scripture

Acts 10:43 (KJV 1900) — 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
