Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” with a dollop of "free will".

Well, I understood... amazingly so but let me give you my beliefs....

Justification

Justification is a legal declaration by God the Father that a sinner is righteous in His sight. And this happens only once, at the moment of genuine faith.

Sanctification

Sanctification is the ongoing work of God in the believer to make them actually holy in life and conduct. And this continues
progressively through out the "Christian" life.

We can go deeper if you want.
I don't want to go "deeper" at all. I want people to abandon using words that require several paragraphs of explanation, and just speak in plain modern English.

edit: I do appreciate that you put your definitions into mostly modern English :)

Your reading comprehension is not my fault.
My reading comprehension is fine.

My desire to wade into a debate on the meaning of two words that nobody in real life ever uses... it couldn't be lower. I literally didn't read your post, having determined at a quick scan that at best it would result in an argument that is counter-productive to the faith.
