Rapture ready sounds good to me.
Because thou hast
kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Revelation 3:10
Kept the word of my patience—This statement is emphatic to the point of redundancy. God’s word is what reminds believers of God’s faithfulness during difficult times.
My soul languishes and grows faint for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word.
Psalm 119:81.
To keep His word means to have responded to its intention of inspiring faithfulness through the testimony of God’s faithfulness which is exactly what the next phrase in this very verse reveals.
from the hour of temptation—The promise to preserve this church from the tribulation to come
(Revelation 6–19:21) is a token of the pre-tribulation rapture (the preservation of all believers from the tribulation) and fits well with the experience of John’s rapture and heavenly vision in
Chapters 4 and
5.
Whether you subscribe to a Pre-Tribulation, Mid-Tribulation, or Post-Tribulation Rapture, when you read Jesus’ words concerning the end times, you cannot come to any other conclusion than to say He wants us living each and every day looking for His coming.
