Rapture Ready

Exactly! Historically, belief in the any-moment-coming of Christ has three vital effects on Christians and their churches.

1. It produces holy living in an unholy society. John said, “Everyone who has this hope in Him [the return of Christ] purifies himself, just as He is pure” 1 John 3:3

2. It produces an evangelistic church of soul-winning Christians. When we believe Christ could appear at any moment, we seek to share Him with our friends lest they be left behind at His coming.

3. Belief in the imminent return of Christ makes Christians and churches want to develop a worldwide missionary vision of reaching the lost for Christ.

To top that off we have more reason to believe that Christ will come in our lifetime than any generation since He ascended into heaven and promised to return. Naturally, we should eagerly desire to reach our friends with His good news.
ALL Truth Originates with God.

If God did not say it - then do not believe it.

There is only one way to know if pre-trib rapture is the Big Lie or not!

Find in the Scripture if God said:

the LORD will pre-trib rapture His Church
or
the LORD will not permit His Church to suffer tribulation
or
The LORD will Come for His saints/elect/church BEFORE the Antichrist

The Glorious GOSPEL is the motivating factor in evangelizing and preaching and reaching the lost.

Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

2 Peter 3:8-9
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The timing of the rapture in relation to the tribulation is one of the most controversial issues in the church today. The three primary views are pre-tribulational (the rapture occurs before the tribulation), mid-tribulational (the rapture occurs at or near the mid-point of the tribulation), and post-tribulational (the rapture occurs at the end of the tribulation). A fourth view, commonly known as pre-wrath, is a slight modification of the mid-tribulational position.

hqdefault.jpg

First, it is important to recognize the purpose of the tribulation. According to Daniel 9:27, there is a seventieth “seven” (seven years) that is still yet to come. Daniel’s entire prophecy of the seventy sevens (Daniel 9:20-27) is speaking of the nation of Israel. It is a time period in which God focuses His attention especially on Israel. The seventieth seven, the tribulation, must also be a time when God deals specifically with Israel. While this does not necessarily indicate that the church could not also be present, it does bring into question why the church would need to be on the earth during that time.

The primary Scripture passage on the rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It states that all living believers, along with all believers who have died, will meet the Lord Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever. The rapture is God’s removing of His people from the earth. A few verses later, in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul says, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The book of Revelation, which deals primarily with the time period of the tribulation, is a prophetic message of how God will pour out His wrath upon the earth during the tribulation. It seems inconsistent for God to promise believers that they will not suffer wrath and then leave them on the earth to suffer through the wrath of the tribulation. The fact that God promises to deliver Christians from wrath shortly after promising to remove His people from the earth seems to link those two events together.

Another crucial passage on the timing of the rapture is Revelation 3:10, in which Christ promises to deliver believers from the “hour of trial” that is going to come upon the earth. This could mean two things. Either Christ will protect believers in the midst of the trials, or He will deliver believers out of the trials. Both are valid meanings of the Greek word translated “from.” However, it is important to recognize what believers are promised to be kept from. It is not just the trial, but the “hour” of trial. Christ is promising to keep believers from the very time period that contains the trials, namely the tribulation. The purpose of the tribulation, the purpose of the rapture, the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 5:9, and the interpretation of Revelation 3:10 all give clear support to the pre-tribulational position. If the Bible is interpreted literally and consistently, the pre-tribulational position is the most biblically-based interpretation.

@Grace ambassador says: "Of course, if these things are not of high importance, or "wrongly divided lies," then
maybe we should just abandon studying and kindly/humbly discussing them?"
RAPTURE (from 1 Thess. 4:17)

Our theological concept of "rapture" originates from the verb "caught up." "Rapture" is a Latin rendering of the Greek verb in 1 Thess. 4:17 (harpazō – future passive indicative), which implies a forceful "snatching away" (cf. John 6:15; 10:12, 28-29). This event is also mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:51-52.

Many have disagreed about this end-time event. Some expect a secret rapture of believers (cf. Matt. 24:40-42, which I do not believe is taught in the NT, see my notes online) before a thousand-year reign of Christ upon the earth (see Special Topic: The Millennium). Often a seven-year tribulation period (cf. Dan. 7:25; 9:27) is linked to this. Some theologians have the rapture before, in the middle, or after this seven year period. The order and nature of these end-time events are ambiguous at best. Dogmatism is surely inappropriate here.

Believers are going to meet the Lord in the air, because in the NT the air was seen as the realm of Satan (cf. Eph. 2:2) and Greeks thought the lower air (atmosphere) was unclean and, therefore, the domain of unclean spirits. Believers will be reunited with their Lord in the midst of Satan's kingdom to show its complete overthrow.

1 Thess. 4:17 – "together with them" This church had misunderstood Paul's preaching about the Second Coming. Paul wrote both 1 and 2 Thessalonians to answer these questions. The church wanted to know:

1. Would the Christians who had died participate in these end-time events?

2. When would dead and living believers be reunited? This subject is discussed again in 2 Thess. 2:1.

"in the clouds" – Clouds are the traditional means of the transportation of deity (cf. Dan. 7:13; Matt. 24:30; 26:64; Acts 1:9-11; Rev. 1:7). The image calls to remembrance the Shekinah cloud of the OT exodus experience (cf. Exod. 13:21,22; 14:19,20,24; 16:10; 19:9,16; 24:15,16,18; 34:5; 40:34-38) which symbolizes God's presence with His people.

PART 1 = Finding TRUTH in God's Word.

FIRST, it is MOST important thing to recognize is the purpose of trusting the LORD at His every word.

JESUS says: "Man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY word that proceeds from the Mouth of God." - Matt 4:4

The LORD said this to Satan who is the Tempter and Master at taking God's words and just giving a little twist here and a twist over there.
Satan knows that by adding to God's words or taking away from God's words, will change the outcome and PURPOSE of God's will as it concerns our lives.

ALL Tribulation originated from the Serpent's lie in Genesis = "Did God really say".........................you will suffer Tribulation?

Unless a person fully understands this, they will be tempted and corralled to commit error as in the Garden = defy the Word.

Pre-trib rapture is Satan's BIG LIE that he fed to some people who took the bait and ran with it and it continues today.

The PURPOSE of the lie of 'pre-trib' rapture is to DIVIDE the Saints, water down God's warnings and cause a major heart failure for those who have exchanged the Truth of what God said for a lie.
Lies, no matter how small, look good, tastes good and make you feel good about yourself - such is the lie of 'pre-trib'.

Once you begin with a tiny little error it continues to grow because it cannot stand alone and must be propped up with more error.

We can SEE these errors ONLY if we are willing to let go of them and CLING to EVERY word that proceeds from the Mouth of God.

Foundation of ERROR = pre-trib rapture
This foundational error NEVER came out from the Mouth of God and therefore many more errors grew out from it.

God's Pure TRUTH will expose these destructive errors from His EVERY word.

ERROR #1 = 'pre-trib' rapture

ERROR #2 = "According to Daniel 9:27, there is a seventieth “seven” (seven years) that is still yet to come."

We will continue in PART 2 exposing the ERROR #2 - which stinks really BAD

I ask again-WHO was to hide behind rocks and hills? Believers?

Why are you asking that which is obvious?

You know that @L.A.M.B. is comparing those who are FAITHFUL to CHRIST unto death as opposed
to those who do not know the LORD.

Answer is in BOLD

What did God say in the 5th Seal of Revelation chapter 6 ?

PART 2

The 70th Week BEGAN when the LORD JESUS Christ came to earth and Made Atonement for ALL SIN for ALL Tribes, Tongues and Nations,
including the earthbound nation of Israel.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for Daniel 9:24(70th Week) to not of taken place = No MESSIAH dying for the sins of the world = No 70th Week.

AFTER the 69th Week comes the 70th Week where MESSIAH is cruicified.

Go back and read again Daniel chapter 9 - the 70th Week has Come and we await for His Return.

Here is what you missed - the seven year Peace Treaty is contained inside the 70th Week and is NOT the 70th Week.
This is where most stumble over because they have been misled away with pre-trib rapture.

Conclusion: The LORD Jesus Christ first Coming started the 70th Week as foretold in Daniel 9:24 = Atonement Completed on the Cross
The past 2,000 years the GOSPEL(70th Week) has been going out to all nations as Prophesied by the LORD Jesus Christ.
The GOSPEL is the 70th Week and we have been living inside the 70th Week = "TODAY if you hear His Voice"
This is why the LORD'S ministry was approximately 3.5 years.
When the Antichrist is revealed as prophesied in 2 Thessalonians ch2, the last 3.5 Years of the 70th Week will begin according to God's Timing.

PART 3 of Finding Truth in God's Word

Amos 3:7 - "Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets."

ALL Truth Originates with God.

If God did not say it = DO NOT believe it, especially when it tickles the ears.

God never spoke a single word of a 'pre-trib' rapture but HE did tell us exactly WHEN the Rapture will take place.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 = At His Coming, Resurrection FIRST and then the Rapture

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord
will by no means precede those who are asleep(have died).
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Next we will look at the words of CHRIST instructing us of the timing of His Second Coming.

Part 4 of Finding Truth in God's Word

Hebrews 6:18
by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

Since it is impossible for God to lie and HE never spoke 'pre-trib' rapture at anytime in the Scriptures, we should reject that false doctrine and warn the Brethren of it's evil trap.
God gave to us the exact timing of the LORD'S Second Coming = "at the end of the age"

Matthew 13:37-43
He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil,
the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

The "end of the age" will ONLY occur at this 'Timing' that is under God's Authority = Matthew 24:9-14

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations,
and then the end will come."

There will be one Final event immediately BEFORE the LORD"S Second Coming = Matthew 24:15-28 & 2 Thess ch2

Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

WARNING against the falsehood of pre-trib rapture
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Antichrist rises in power BEFORE the LORD'S Second Coming
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His Coming.

Do you understand what you post?
Are you a scholar at eschaton?

You can say it is an error but please refrain from saying it’s a lie and those who believe it are liars. See rule 2d below

2d. This further includes making false statements or accusations about a member. Do not lie about anyone or call them a liar. Sarcasm is not included under this rule.

Then why not give a answer to a simple question?

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

To whom was this addressed? Christians?

Foolishness from you Johann i never expected.
Not foolishness-seeking to rightly divide the Scriptures and not impose MY opinions upon the text-right?

“HE CAME UNTO HIS OWN”
“HIS OWN RECEIVED HIM NOT”
“AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM”
CHRIST CAME UNTO HIS OWN

Who is His own? Christians?

“He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to
them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John
1:11 and 12.

The study of John 1:11 and 12 has proved so interesting and helpful to me that I want to
share with others some of the blessings I have received in this study.
If you are a child of God, of course you know the truth of Galatians 3:26:

“FOR YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF GOD BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.”

This is the only way that any child of Adam can become a child of God. The same
Apostle John, who was directed by the Holy Spirit to write the verses which we are considering,
also wrote:

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” “He that hath the Son hath
life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” I John 5:1 and 12.

He also wrote II John 9:
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He
that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”

It was Christ Himself Who spoke the words of John 5:23 and John 14:6
“That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth
not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him.”

Again note these words of the Lord Jesus:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the
Father, but by Me.”

Then the Holy Spirit directed the Apostle Peter to write I Peter 3:18:
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us
to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”

All of these Divine statements help us to understand John 1:12:
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on His name.”

Only receivers and believers become God’s children or sons. There is positively no way
to Divine sonship except through and by the Lord Jesus Christ, faith in the Son of God and His
once for-all sacrifice on the cross. Unbelievers are by nature the children of wrath. Ephesians 2:1
to 3.

Whether we call the believer’s relationship. to God, “Divine sonship,” “regeneration,”
“redemption,” “reconciliation,” “salvation,” or “membership in Christ’s Church,” this
relationship is established always and only by faith in the true Christ of the Bible and because of
the application of the precious blood of this eternal Son of God.

This Divine process is clearly stated in Colossians 1:20 and 21, Ephesians 1:6 and 7 and

Ephesians 2:8 to 10:
“And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things
unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that
were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He
reconciled.”

“To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He made us accepted in the Beloved, In
Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of
His grace.”

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus
unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM

“As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on His name.” John 1:12.

This should all be very clear to Gentiles and Jews during this period of grace in which we
are so extremely fortunate to live. But this economy and age of grace did not begin until after
“His own received Him not.”

Note carefully the message of Acts 2:22 and 23:
“Ye men, of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among
you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye
yourselves also know; Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel, and foreknowledge of
God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain.”

Jesus of Nazareth was a Man approved of God; that is, Jesus was put on display by God.
Where and for whom? In the land of the Jews; for Israel.

Some years after the Lord Jesus was
rejected by Israel, crucified, buried, raised, and ascended, He said to a converted Jew:

“Depart; for I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles.” Acts 22:21.

Then that converted Jew wrote:
“The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” Titus 2:11.

Then note his message in I Timothy 2:3 to 6:
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men
to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified
in due time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and
lie not, a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.”

All of this is quite different from the statements of Jesus of Nazareth in the land of the
Jews, in the midst of Israel. Note the Lord’s instructions:

“THESE TWELVE JESUS SENT FORTH, AND COMMANDED THEM, SAYING,
GO NOT INTO THE WAY OF THE GENTILES, AND INTO ANY CITY OF THE
SAMARITANS ENTER YE NOT: BUT GO RATHER TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE
HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” “BUT WHEN THEY PERSECUTE YOU IN THIS CITY, FLEE YE
INTO ANOTHER: FOR VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, YE SHALL NOT HAVE GONE OVER
THE CITIES OF ISRAEL, TILL THE SON OF MAN BE COME.” Matthew 10:5, 6 and 23.

Read this plain, positive statement of Christ:

“BUT HE ANSWERED AND SAID, I AM NOT SENT BUT UNTO THE LOST
SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” “BUT HE ANSWERED AND SAID, IT IS NOT
MEET TO TAKE THE CHILDREN’S BREAD, AND CAST IT TO DOGS.” Matthew 15:24
and 26.

Christ came unto His own. While on earth, as Jesus of Nazareth, He did not say to His
twelve apostles, “depart, for I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles.” No, He positively
commanded them, “go not into the way of the Gentiles.” “You are to go to the cities of Israel.”
“Go to the lost sheep of Israel.” “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of Israel.”
So while Christ was on earth it certainly was not true that the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men.”

Not being facetious with you @DavidTree

No false statements have been made.
"and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come."

These are the things you shall do:
Speak each man the truth to his neighbor;
Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;
Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor;
And do not love a false oath.
For all these are things that I hate,’
Says the Lord.” - Zechariah 8:16-17

Pre-trib is a lie that is dividing you from the Truth and dividing us from God's Commandment to love one another.

You take it as a personal attack.

God takes it as a personal attack against His words = Proverbs 30:5-6

IF you love God then go into His word and find where HE said:

"I will pre-trib rapture my Church"
or
"My Second Coming is BEFORE the Antichrist."
or
"My Church will not suffer tribulation."

By doing so you will love God in the process because you desire to know Him more just as the LORD Jesus Christ prayed in John ch17.

I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth
.

God commands us to speak TRUTH to one another =

If you are in Christ, then the LORD is speaking to you in His word.

You use social media that informs you of what is going on in Israel.

The CENTER POINT of the LORD'S Return is where?
