He that believes and is not water baptised is saved

Paul was led by the Spirit where to preach. Doesnt God do the sending according to Rom 10 15

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Yep and

Romans 10:17 (KJV 1900) — 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You are somewhat confused I did not say it was irrelevant I did note repentance brings remission of sin

There are facts you need to deal with

but you will not deal with the evidence
So you are saying the old Testament gives us remission of sins and not repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins as in the New Testament?

So everybody that hears preaching is automatically receiving remission of sins all over the planet or did they have to concentrate real hard?

Where did i state

The old Testament gives us remission of sins and not repentance

Everybody that God has saved, He sends them the Gospel to hear of their salvation duh

Acts 13 26

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

You’ve been referring to the old Testament. The remission of sins comes from baptism in the name of Jesus Christ today. You can’t search all over scripture in the old Testament to try to find it.

How do you know that you’re even saved? What if you accidentally hear the gospel by browsing YouTube and you think for a little bit about it? Are you automatically saved by hearing the gospel without water baptism in the name of Jesus? Do you just have to concentrate harder to be saved? Do you have to get into deep thought or something like that?

Tom..,

There are facts you need to deal with

Even Old testament Jews held remission pardon of sin was available on repentance

You referred to this.

But I never stated the Old testament gives remission of sin and not repentance

You have actually falsified my claim.

here is what I stated'

Even Old testament Jews held remission pardon of sin was available on repentance

Isaiah 55:7 (KJV 1900) — 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts: And let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Acts 10:43 (KJV 1900) — 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

all who repent receive remission of sin
This might be a good opportunity for you to now repent

John 5:39 KJVS - Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Also look at Hebrews hall of fame of faith.

This is referring to OT saints. They were saved eternally the same way.

Their mode of service though was different. Not thru NT churches. Not thru NT ordinances.. but Mosaic and Levitical laws.

The mode of service did not deliver eternally then.

The mode of service does not deliver eternally now.

Justification by faith in Christ did then and does now.

The OT saints were looking to Jesus who was to come. Jesus still able to deliver eternally, not by works, which includes not by water baptism.

Their service thru the laws was a response to being delivered eternally

NT believers look to Jesus as what He has done. Jesus delivers eternally, not by works, which is not by water baptism.

Their service thru NT church service is a response to being delivered eternally.

You equated the old testament process of remission of sins with the New Testament process. You skip water baptism all together. Edit by Admin.

Tom, do you think if they skip the process of the brazen altar and the brazen Laver in the Old Testament Tabernacle, They would’ve found remission of sins?
Do you know what the brazen altar represented symbolically ? Do you know what the brazen laver represented in symbolism? Do you know any of this? Must I tell you?

Baptism is a Christian rite or sacrament involving pouring or sprinkling water over the head or immersion in water; biblically associated with repentance and confession of sins; variously understood to sacramentally effect or symbolize purification, regeneration, and initiation into a faith community; variously performed on people making professions of faith.

It's not what secures your salvation. Only believing in Jesus will do that.

As an act of proclamation, baptism signifies a person’s testimony to his or her union with Christ, especially through identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

Baptism displays that, through the power of the indwelling Christ, those being baptized have already died to their old selves and are now alive through Him and to Him.

What is this…
Men and brethren what shall we do?

Then Peter said, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…
