Yes no man can save another from their sin, only God can save a man from their sins.
This is how we know Christ is God our Savior and called that by both Peter and Paul in their epistles.
No apostle can save anyone
No prophet can save anyone
But God can save anyone and everyone from their sins- hence Scripture calls Christ God, Savior, God and Savior many times.
Psalm 49:7- No man can by any means redeem his brother Or give to God a ransom for him
the unitarians make the above Psalmist a liar and Gods word out to be a lie.
John the Baptist is the voice crying in the wilderness
Matthew 3:3 (UASV) — 3 For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said, “The voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.’
And john prepared the way for Jesus
There was one voice one messenger to prepare the way
and BTW
And Isaiah 40:3 - 5
Isaiah 40:3–5 (KJV 1900) — 3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, And every mountain and hill shall be made low: And the crooked shall be made straight, And the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed,
John 1:14 (UASV) — 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only begotten one from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Hello the glory of jehovah was the the glory of the word who became flesh
hello are you getting that
The glory of Jehovah they saw was the glory of the word who became flesh
The only begotten of the Father
hello
Are you getting that
The only begotten of the Father
Jesus christ
All praise and glory to his name
Your doctrine is destroyed
Seeing the glory of Jesus was seeing the glory of Jehovah
You got the wrong idea. You just proved that God sent John the Baptist is a messenger. For your doctrine to hold any water, which it does not, then John the Baptist would have to become God. LoL you are all over the place. Since Jesus is also the one God sent and God's messenger, your trinity just got knocked on its rear. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Understand why Jesus is not God anymore than John is?

I'll be in this thread until there is silence as I have already stated. It all comes back to the bottom line that there is no verse about describing Jesus as ever having been prayed to and there is no teaching about praying to Jesus in the Bible. Argue all you want, you can't debunk that. Let this sink in... there is no teaching in scripture to pray to the one you claim is God.

Sorry, my OP has not been challenged or refuted. There are no words that use the words "pray" to described speaking to Jesus. There are none. No one taught anything about praying to Jesus in the Bible. I am 100% correct about this. You can argue about the word "Lord" being Jesus, sure, but I can also argue about the Lord being the Father just as easily. You have nothing concrete, nothing explicit. The Bible doesn't require what your religion commands. Think about it.
Here it is again from comment #1 to refresh what I said:
"Not much to comment on due to sheer lack of supporting verses. One may argue to the contrary, but there are no explicit examples where someone taught to pray to Jesus in the Bible. There are no examples of the word "pray" or "prayer" being used in conjunction with communicating to Jesus.
The Bible teaches to pray to God the Father. That's it.
Matthew 6 6But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 9So then, this is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name."
To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
And the high priest said, “Are these things so?” And Stephen said: “Brothers and fathers, hear me. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran, and said to him, ‘Go out from your land and from your kindred and go into the land that I will show you.’ Then he went out from the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran. And after his father died, God removed him from there into this land in which you are now living. Yet he gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot's length, but promised to give it to him as a possession and to his offspring after him, though he had no child. ...
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. ...
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” ...
As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.
By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Since prayer is talking to God. And because Jesus is, as the Scriptures present him, the one person who is truly God and truly human—-the second person of the Trinity now incarnate—-then how could praying to this Jesus be wrong?

Hello sir, thank you for your question. while it's true that people did speak to Jesus in heaven, others spoke to other people in heaven, too, without that being considered a prayer. Please see Revelation 7:13,14 where John and an elder and heaven conversed. So you and I are conversing now and that isn't praying to one another. John and the elder spoke to and from heaven without it being prayer, too. So praying involves speaking but not all speaking is prayer.
I found it interesting that there are no verses that actually say Jesus was prayed to, yet on the subject of prayer there is actually just one teaching on prayer and it's to the Father in Matthew 6:6,9.

Hi Damien, welcome to the forum. Sorry, none of that actually mentions the word prayer when they spoke to Jesus or are an example of praying to Jesus. Please let me know if you see something different. I couldn't find anything.

You simply frame your argument and deny what is offered as prayer
Revelation 5:8 (NASB 2020) — 8 When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
