In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth(Gen 1:1)
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.(John 1:1-3)

The Word who was God became flesh and Tabernacled among us and we beheld His Glory.(John 1:1,14) Jesus is truly God Incarnate- Yahweh in the flesh as a man. No man can have the things said about him above without being God and man.

Jesus has all the Attributes of the True God(Yahweh). These things cannot be said of any man but only God.


OMNIPOTENT

Jesus has power over disease- Luke 7:14, over death- Matt 8:26, over nature - Matt 8:16, over satan and his angels- Luke 4:35 - 41; Eph 1:20-23, over all things Heb 1:3

OMNISCIENT
Jesus knows all people, their thoughts and intentions. The woman at the well- John 4:16. In John 2:24,Luke 5:22 Jesus knew their thoughts.Peter declared Jesus knew all things John 16:30


OMNIPRESENCE

Jesus is everywhere at the same time. Matt 18:20- where 2 or 3 are gathered in My name I will be in their midst. Matt 28:20 And lo I Am with you always until the end of the age. John 3:13 Jesus is in heaven and earth simultaneously- And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the son of man which is in heaven

ETERNAL
John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word.1John 1:1- from the beginning. Micah 5:2- who's going forth is from everlasting, Col 1:17- He is before all things, John 17:5- the Glory which I had before the world was. Heb 13:8 Jesis is the same yesterday, today and forever- He changes not ! which means Jesus is also IMMUTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is the Creator:

John 1:3- Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

Rom 11:36-“For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen”

Col. 1:15-17- He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Heb. 1:10- "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.


Yahweh is the Creator:

Job 33:4 -The Spirit of God has made me;
the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Isa. 40:28- Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

Gen. 1:1-In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, God !

These passages in Revelation make it clear that Jesus is God. Remember it is Jesus in the GNT who is Coming back to earth that every eye will see. It was Jesus who was pierced on the cross for our sins. John is clearly once again calling Jesus God!!!!!!! The Coming and the coming in the clouds never refers to the Father in the GNT but always to Jesus.


Rev 1:7-8
7 BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
8 "I Am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Rev 22:12-13
12 "Behold, I Am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13 "I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

Rev 22:16,20
16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."
20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I Am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The immediate text clearly tells us that it was Jesus who was pierced and who is Coming in the clouds. This person coming in the clouds is God(Jesus-the Son of Man),

Dan 7:13-14
And behold, with the clouds of heaven
One like a Son of Man was coming,
And He came up to the Ancient of Days
And was presented before Him.
14 "And to Him was given dominion,
Glory and a kingdom,
That all the peoples, nations and men of every language
Might serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion

And His kingdom is one
Which will not be destroyed.


Matt 24:30-31
30 "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.

Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see THE SON OF MANSITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN."

We know from Revelation 1:17-18 that the first and the last is He that liveth, was dead, but is alive forevermore. This is Christ.

We know from Revelation 22:13 that the first and the last is also Alpha and Omega.

And finally, we know from Revelation 1:8 that Alpha and Omega is the Almighty. So we can see that Christ is the Almighty.
Revelation 1:17-18

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

I just love the Apostle John and how he brings home for all to see that Jesus is indeed Yahweh in the book of Revelation,

Here is a 5th book of the bible that confirms it is Jesus who is the Son of Man coming in the clouds. Even the Jews knew He was claiming to be God and condemned Him for blasphemy !!!!!!!!

Mark 14:62-65
62 And Jesus said, "I am; and you shall see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN." 63 Tearing his clothes, the high priest said, "What further need do we have of witnesses? 64 "You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?" The one who comes/is coming in the GNT always refers to Jesus the Son of Man and NEVER refers to the Father. Therefor we can conclude it is Jesus who is coming whom John calls God the Alpha and Omega. This is sound biblical exegesis based on the context of the passage as well as the principle established in both Testaments on the One who is Coming in/with the Clouds- The Son of Man not the Father


Who was this man ?

No mere man could of made these claims. There is no other person other than God who said and did these things in scripture. No human can make these claims below. It amazing the Jews of His day who heard His words knew His claims of Deity. But the modern day cults are worse off then those Jews for they deny His claims to be Yahweh.

Matt 11:25-30
25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. 26 "Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. 27 "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Jesus also left no room for who He claimed to be and His identity. Jesus said and did things that only God could say and do. He raised the dead because He had power over death and the grave. He forgave sin that was only God’s prerogative. He had miraculous power over nature. He was the Lord of the Sabbath. The list could go on and on but the point has been clearly made. Jesus was no mere man but God incarnate. Without believing in the Incarnation one has no Savior for there sin. After all He did say unless you believe I Am (a clear reference to His being YHWH) you will die in your sins. They did try and stone Him for these words on more than one occasion. Jesus is the Christ who the scriptures declare is both God and man. John makes it very clear in his gospel and epistle that Jesus is God Incarnate. This is just from one of the Apostles of Christ. My next thread I will expound on the Apostle Paul’s teaching that Christ is indeed God.

2 Cor 5:6-11
6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord — 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight — 8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.

Below is how Jesus and Paul describe the function of the Holy Spirit. Believers do not pray to the Holy Spirit but they do pray to both Jesus and the Father. The Spirit intercedes on behalf of the believer.

John 15:26
26 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

John 16:13-15
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. The apostles were Jews praying to YHWH, who is often called "Lord" in the Old Testament. It is YHWH who would anoint David's descendant, the Messiah.
So, your argument that Jesus is God because He is called also "Lord" in the New Testament is refuted... unless you believe that Jesus anointed Himself.

Jesus is the Savior in 2 Peter 1:1 and 2 Peter 1:11, but Jesus isn't being called God in 2 Peter 1:1 because they are separated by titles.

Title 1 is God and that's the Father according to what everyone taught and title 2 is Savior for Jesus. They are separated by the conjunction "and" meaning these titles are not being conflated.

There is also the matter of context where Jesus is clearly not God, such as 2 Peter 1:2 and grammar. If Jesus was being called God here it may read something like "Our God who is Savior."

Jesus cannot be your Savior according to your own mistranslation of the KJV which is inconsistent. The Greek is IDENTICAL as I demonstrated by quoting all the Greek texts in 1:1 and 1:11 showing its One Person not 2 Persons in 1:1 and 1:11. In both verses it Jesus who is called our Lord and Savior/ our God and Savior.

Many of the verses you have kindly quoted show that Jesus is a Manifestation of God. His Agent. A thing I fully adhere to.
God loves us through his Christ, save us through his Christ, judges us through his Christ, comes to earth through his Christ.

Some other passages, in fact, show the opposite of what you are interpreting. Jesus and God are not the same beings.

Creates too many contradictions in Scripture. We can find similar constructs all over the Bible where God and Jesus are not the same. They are everywhere. Using just one verse with a suspicious "rule" that wasn't invented until the 1700s isn't Biblical. Can you demonstrate what you're proposing with any consistency?

Worshipping God doesn't involve kneeling like how they did to Jesus. Jesus only taught to worship the Father in spirit and truth, nor are there any commandments about Jesus seeking this kind of worship, etc. In the Old Testament, there are examples of people being worshipped who aren't God.

So I believe what you're proposing contains a consistency issue. You have not demonstrated how bowing to Jesus is any different to bowing to any other man such as Nathan before the king in 1 Kings 1:23, Lot before the angels in Genesis 19:1, etc where the word used to describe what happens can mean worship.

While on the other hand, isn't the only one who is taught to have spirit and truth worship the Father? That is not Jesus. This worship is exclusive to the Father, not Jesus. That's pretty good evidence that Jesus is not himself God.

The one who comes/is coming in the GNT always refers to Jesus the Son of Man and NEVER refers to the Father. This is sound biblical exegesis based on the context of the passage as well as the principle established in both Testaments on the One who is Coming in/with the Clouds- The Son of Man not the Father


Who was this man ?

No mere man could of made these claims. There is no other person other than God who said and did these things in scripture. No human can make these claims below. It amazing the Jews of His day who heard His words knew His claims of Deity. But the modern day cults are worse off then those Jews for they deny His claims to be Yahweh.

Jesus also left no room for who He claimed to be and His identity. Jesus said and did things that only God could say and do. He raised the dead because He had power over death and the grave. He forgave sin that was only God’s prerogative. He had miraculous power over nature. He was the Lord of the Sabbath. The list could go on and on but the point has been clearly made. Jesus was no mere man but God incarnate. Without believing in the Incarnation one has no Savior for there sin. After all He did say unless you believe I Am (a clear reference to His being YHWH) you will die in your sins. They did try and stone Him for these words on more than one occasion. Jesus is the Christ who the scriptures declare is both God and man. John makes it very clear in his gospel and epistle that Jesus is God Incarnate. This is just from one of the Apostles of Christ. My next thread I will expound on the Apostle Paul’s teaching that Christ is indeed God.

"Exhibit Z" God tells us that He is "the first and the last" in Isaiah 41:4; 44:6; 48:12. Jesus tells us that HE IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST. Rev.1:17; 22:12-13. Therefore Jesus is God.
