Refuting effectually caused faith

You have to hear it, to believe it.

And that's on you..

There is a reason that no verse in the bible says...>"ok, now God is going to make some of you believe and that is why im here preaching......so that God can make some of you believe".

The Holy Spirit will reveal that its TRUE< to a HEARER.... but He does not come into your head and take over.

God is not a body snatcher.
He is not in this.....= "you are a hand puppet and that is why i made you believe"....


So, Calvin is a liar and his deceived are no different as when you teach his theology, then, there are you found.

Um the unregenerate heard , received the word with joy and believed

Luke 8:13 (KJV 1900) — 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

aside from just ignoring it?

Faith requires the Gospel be given so that Faith can believe it.

This is why you have Pastors and Evangelists and Teachers and Preachers.

See, if God was just saving, based on causing it, then there would be no need for a Preacher.

But the way it works is... you HEAR the Truth and you believe it, or you dont hear it.. .. or you hear it but won't have it.

I can preach to 5000 and some hear it.......and of those who hear it......not all will have it.

Some will sin willfully ,= """"""""I know its true, God has revealed it, but im not ready yet. "im too young"... "if i trust in Christ then i can't have any more fun""""".

See those?

They heard it.... They know its true....but they wont have it..

Paul says they are "stiff-necked"......they are resisting what they know is True.

Others dont resist.

Its all up to the person.

Faith requires spiritual understanding, which requires Spiritual life. Believing in Jesus isn't possible until one is born of the Spirit Jn 3:3

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

When one is born of the Spirit they are given Spiritual eyes and ears.

You can get a child to believe in Santa Claus. That's not the same thing as faith.

You lack faith in God. You reject the fact that God will have mercy on whom He wants to have mercy because it conflicts with your perverted idea of fairness. You inject fairness and free will vs. God's sovereignty in election, which is clearly stated in scripture. You won't trust that God's purpose is good if it's not fair according to your personal opinion. You place yourself above God.
