Jesus denied being God

The prophecy of a God-man to redeem God's people was first prophesied by God to the serpent and in the process of time the only man that can save is the God-man by the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor. 5:19.
Amen !!!

If he was not a man prior to birth then why did he say the son of man descended from heaven in John 3:13, John 6:62? Doesn't the term "son of man" refer to humans? Isn't God not the son of man as the Scriptures states?

Do you ever stop to read what you write and see how it might sound?

If he was not a man prior to birth then why did he say the son of man descended from heaven?.. sounds suspiciously as if his father had to also be a man. So you need a deeper understanding that IS NOT given to all.

Print this out so you can refer to it when you forget . (compiled from a collection of sources biblical and opinions ... of which I share and have adapted))

We read that Jesus was called many names throughout the Bible, but Son of Man stands apart for several reasons. The number of times we see this name alone separates it from some of the others. Just as with a name like Lamb of God, this name has a distinct meaning that is easily defined and tied back to Scripture. What is the significance and the implications of Christ being the Son of Man? Just like other names of God, this name has rich meaning. Let’s explore this powerful name.

Humans use titles all the time to communicate something about themselves to others. We see them frequently in social media bios, where people use words like “influencer,” “mom,” “student,” “doctor,” etc., to tell other people who they are or what they do.

When we look at Jesus of Nazareth, we see a man who bore many titles. We see words like “Messiah,” “Prince of Peace,” “Teacher,” “Son of God,” “Son of David,” and more. But the one that Jesus himself used most often was Son of Man. Why? What was Jesus trying to say about himself? We find a surprising answer if we take a quick look at the Old Testament.

The designation “Son of Man” was how Jesus most often referred to himself. He uses the title in all four gospels, so references are numerous.

The common understanding is that "Son of God" implies his deity—which it does—and that "Son of Man" implies his humanity, which it does too.

He was a son of man, that is, a human being. And he is the Son of God, in that he has always existed as the Eternally Begotten One who comes forth from the Father forever. He always has, and he always will. He is the Second Person of the Trinity with all of the divine nature fully in him.

He is born of a virgin. He had a human father who didn't have sex with this virgin until Jesus was born, and she completed her purification. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the virgin Mary. Thus he is human—fully human. The Bible wants to emphasize that he is fully human.

So that's the common understanding~ he is both divine and he is human—two natures, one person.

I probably should stop at this point but YOU need to know there is an important historical insight is that the term "Son of Man" doesn't merely align him with humanity. ...... Taken from Daniel 7. And if you read that chapter you'll see that the Son of Man is a very exalted figure: not just a human figure but an exalted figure. And by all appearances it was Jesus' favorite self-designation.

Does God require being fallible human in order to redeem? You know, God can actually redeem without the need of people. Scripture says He doesn't need people nor desires sacrifice. Why, then, would there be need of an alleged incarnation?
SMH... again.... sigh!!!!!! It was all worked into YHWH Elohim's master plan when he was in the designing stages.

You wont understand so I will stop now.
Acts 17
24God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Hebrews 10
6In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

I like this explanation:

The hypostatic union is the term used to describe how God the Son, Jesus Christ, took on a human nature, yet remained fully God at the same time. Jesus always had been God (John 8:58, 10:30), but at the incarnation Jesus became a human being (John 1:14). The addition of the human nature to the divine nature is Jesus, the God-man. This is the hypostatic union, Jesus Christ, one Person, fully God and fully man.

What verse in Genesis refers to the redeemer as a God-man?

I have an idea. Open a thread on the hypostatic union because i've been waiting for one of those.
