Eternal Justification !

The contractual agreement !

The contractual agreement between the Father and the Son, the covenant of peace, this agreement forbade the Father to charge His Elect with condemnation and sin upon their transgressing in Time, yes they would sin indeed in Adam, but because of the Everlasting Covenant, their condemnation for their sin could not be laid to their charge, simply because the agreement was , when they sin and became indebted to God's Law and Justice, that the charge would not be imputed to them, but to Christ their Surety, leaving them therefore Justified from all sin by non imputation Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

The elect were discharged based upon the Promise of the Surety, to in time, the fullness of time to be exact, to die for their sins !

The Father could only by [covenant agreement] look for payment for their sins from the death of Christ vs 34

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Christ was even before His Incarnation on the Right Hand of God as their Surety, that is the Glory He had with the Father before the World Began Jn 17:5

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

It is God that justifieth Not Faith !

Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

This scripture is very clear as to who Justifies, it is God's act first and foremost, and it was conceived in His Mind from Eternity , and when that act is finally terminated on the elect sinners conscious, it is Justification by Faith Rom 5:1. However , for it to ever come to be Justification by Faith in time, it had to be conceived first as Justification from Eternity by Him that conceived it originally ! God never laid to charge to the Elect, their condemnation due to their sin, that began their Justification before Him in Eternity !

Paul defines justification as God’s declaration that sinners who believe in Christ are fully pardoned, acquitted of all guilt and are in a right legal standing before him, on the basis of what God has done in Jesus Christ. Paul explains it quite clearly in the Book of Romans.

He also digs into this subject in Galatians. With great passion he warns his converts of the danger of accepting another gospel, a gospel of justification that includes works and grace, which is not the gospel.

He also alerts the Philippian believers lest they be lead astray on this vital issue:

2 Look out for those dogs [Judaizers, legalists], look out for those mischief-makers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.
3 For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances—
4 Though for myself I have [at least grounds] to rely on the flesh. If any other man considers that he has or seems to have reason to rely on the flesh and his physical and outward advantages, I have still more!
5 Circumcised when I was eight days old, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew [and the son] of Hebrews; as to the observance of the Law I was of [the party of] the Pharisees,
6 As to my zeal, I was a persecutor of the church, and by the Law’s standard of righteousness (supposed justice, uprightness, and right standing with God) I was proven to be blameless and no fault was found with me.
7 But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ’s sake.
8 Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One),
9 And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.
10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]
11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

Philippian 3:2–11

In his There's to the Corinthian church, Paul introduces justification as of central importance to the gospel and insists that all boasting should be ‘in the Lord’

Once more when writing to Titus, in one of his great summary statements of the gospel, Paul clearly emphasises justification by faith alone.

But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared,
5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior.
7 [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope.
8 This message is most trustworthy, and concerning these things I want you to insist steadfastly, so that those who have believed in (trusted in, relied on) God may be careful to apply themselves to honorable occupations and to doing good, for such things are [not only] excellent and right [in themselves], but [they are] good and profitable for the people.

Titus 3:4–8

Paul presents the truth of justification by faith alone as the crucial and initial element in the sinner’s redemptive relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is not to be confused with reconciliation, restoration, liberation or transformation. Justification is not another word for reconciliation. Rather, it is to be seen as providing ‘the logical foundation for reconciliation.’

John Bailey writes and I concur:

But it may be asked when 3God did justify his elect? 1. I answer, from all eternity. For justification is an act of God’s grace, an immanent act in the divine mind and eternal, for nothing new can arise in the mind of God: hence faith the apostle, Eph. i. 3, 4. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings, in heavenly places in Christ, according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. Now the apostle says we were chosen in Christ (that is elected)before the foundation of the world (that is, from all eternity);and as we were elected from all eternity, so likewise justified; for eternal justification must be among all the spiritual blessings the apostle speaks of. Thus we were justified when first elected, though not in our own persons, yet in our dear Lord and Head, as he had our persons then given him, and we came thereby to have a being and interest in him: so that those who object to the glorious doctrine of eternal justification, on the ground that persons cannot be justified before they exist, must also on very same ground object to the soul-supporting doctrine of eternal election, for it may as well be asked how can a person be elected before he exists. Such greatly err not knowing the Scriptures, and the power of God, for known unto God are all his works from the beginning, or from all eternity. Yes, blessed be God from everlasting he knew his people, and from all eternity, they had a representative being in Christ, were chosen in him, and blessed in him with all spiritual blessings; and why not then justified in him? for God’s will to elect is election; so, God’s will to justify is justification.

Thou thought God was as you and me !

Ps 50:21

21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Evil men, with corrupt minds, do blaspheme God, and think of God as one like himself, when in our thinking, they join what God has separated in point and time, and that more specifically being His Eternal Justification of the Elect in His own Mind in Christ, due to His own innate Purpose within Himself, and then the declaring the Elect Justified in their own conscience in time. This is an willful confounding of Eternity with time, the Eternal with the temporal, the Creator with the creature.

For God in His Own Eternal Purpose, He did act immanently, Justifying the Elect in Christ within His Own Counsel from Everlasting, so from Everlasting He is their God Ps 90:1-2

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God[In Covenant].

Thats why it is written of His Mercy Ps 103:17

17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

But this is different and opposed to when He would Justify them in their own persons and hearts in time.

If God does not in His own Mind consider the Elect Justified from Eternity by His Own immanent act, but not until the Elect in their own mind in time are Justified by God given Faith [The Faith of God's Elect Titus 1:1-2], then this would speak of an mutability in God, a Change from what His Mind was in Eternity towards His Elect, which would make God out to be as one of His creatures, and Eternity is governed by time. This is Blasphemy against God, and unless repentance is granted , those teaching such and believing such shall not go unpunished in Hell !

And everyone who disbelieves in the Eternal Justification of God's Elect are in serious peril of damnation ! I'm confident that if we belong to God He will bring us into this Truth and establish us in it

2 Cor 5:19 Eternally Justified World !

2 Cor 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Why this world of 2 Cor 5:19 was Eternally Justified in the Mind of God. It was because it resteth upon God's Eternal Purpose and Decree NOT to impute to it its sins, its transgressions against His Law.

There in God's Eternal Purpose of Election in Christ, there was from Everlasting an Immutable Decree and Will in God, not to punish sin, not to Eternally penalize and punish His Elect for their Transgressions against His Law both in Adam and themselves. Ps 103:12,17

He purposed before the World began, that He was not going to Punish them in a Way of Justice as He would others of the Non Elect World 1 Thess 5:9

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath[As others like Rom 9:22], but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

But He purposed from everlasting to deal with them in Mercy [as Per Rom 9:23] through their Righteous Mediator and Surety, so the Mercy of the LORD to them was from Everlasting to Everlasting Ps 103:17, that is to as many as were Chosen in Him Eph 1:4.

God also with this World 2 Cor 5:19, did bestow from Eternity [By Promise] Eternal Life to this Chosen World in Christ Eph 1:4, through the Blood of the Everlasting Covenant Heb 13:20; Matt 26:28, this was determined before the World Began Rev 13:8 and 1 Pet 1:20 ! 4

Slain from the foundation !

Rev 13:8

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Why was Christ said to be slain from or before the foundation ? See also 1 Pet 1:20.

The reason being is because the Father did in His Eternal Purpose had already Judicially determined to impute or Charge all the sins of His Own People on their Surety, the Lord Jesus Christ, He being their Surety and Mediator before the World Began, and also they [God's Own Elect] did in the same manner receive His Righteousness by Imputation. What this tells us, in that Christ in the Eternal Purpose being slain from the foundation, that also in that Divine Purpose He received by Imputation, the wages of sin [death] for all those He would die for in time, namely His Sheep !

Though Christ did not experientially receive death for their sins before the world began, He did receive it within the Divine Purpose imputatively by the Godhead, and actually in time in 33 ad, at this time this Eternal Judgment was manifested. So before the World began, the Godhead, particularly the Father, the Spirit as an Witness, did Judicially impute the sins of the Elect, the Sheep, onto the Son, their Existing Mediator, and Surety ! Yes they were also Justified before God because of this Eternal Purpose to impute sin on Christ !

Exactly what is the timing of Justification ? When is one for whom Christ died Justified before God ? John Gill gives reasons why he believes that the saint is Justified before God, from everlasting. I concur with his sentiment and here's why, and of course in pursuit it is reasonably concluded why Justification before God is before Faith:

1. Faith is not the cause, but the fruit and effect of justification. The reason why we are justified, is not because we have faith; but the reason why we have faith is because we are justified.
John Gill's comments are riddled with so many errors that I seriously do not know where to start my comments.

I'll start with what I highlighted in your comments above. That statement flies in the face of all the Bible verses I mention below. Gill's error is so massive that the rest of his comments can consigned to the scrap heap.

(Rom 3:28) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the works of the Law.
(Rom 4:5) But to him not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
(Rom 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Gal 2:16) knowing that a man is not justified by works of the Law, but through faith in Jesus Christ; even we believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith in Christ, and not by works of the Law. For all flesh will not be justified by works of law.
(Gal 3:8) And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith, preached the gospel before to Abraham, saying, "In you shall all nations be blessed."
(Gal_3:24) So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
(James 2:24) You see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Justified by Grace means Justification from Eternity !

Titus 3:7

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs[experimentally by New Birth] according to the hope of eternal life.

This verse is packed with Divine Truth, but we will focus on the fact that believers in Christ, were Justified by Grace, before they believed and before the world began .

Yes, a True Believer in time, was Justified before God before the world began by that Grace which was given them then in Christ Jesus according to the Divine Purpose. 2 Tim 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Now according to this scripture testimony, when was Grace given the Believer ? And it was by this Grace they were Justified Titus 3:7

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

To deny this is to deny the Gospel of God's Grace , simple as that !

Read Heb 9:16-17 and make your case with those verses in mind.

Since Christ in the Purpose of God was slain before the foundation, it was for sins charged to Him. So when did The elects sins ever get charged to them in the purpose of God ?

Heb 9:16-17 answers the question of when our sins were forgiven.
So do you understand ? The elect never had sins charged to them, neither were they ever appointed to wrath 1 Thess 5:9
