Believing in the sanctifying work of the Spirit Is not a work of the flesh. Believing is awesome not an action it's a thought, Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you will be saved. Now if you want to change that into some sort of a works salvation be my guest.

Correct its a fruit of the Spirit, its His work in a elect person causing them to believe the Truth
It is an action, so are thoughts. God sees thoughts as actions right here Matt 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Gen 6:5
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually

If John Calvin’s doctrine of Unconditional Election is true, God has chosen only some of mankind for unconditional salvation, not all.
Logic dictates that if God has determined some of us to be predestined for salvation, he has also predetermined that the rest of us are destined for an eternity in hell.
If both Calvinism and God’s Word are true, why wouldn’t God choose to save all of mankind unconditionally if he wants us all to be saved? Why would he have already decided that some of us will spend eternity in hell if he doesn’t want anyone to go to hell?

You're the one changing it. You're the one taking "Works" And twisting it into what you falsely assume what is being taught in the scriptures. I want to encourage you and let you know that you can be that person who God want you to be. Lay down the false claims found in Calvinism and accept the truth that God has provided for us. Get free from the deception.

I'd encourage them to do the same thing as well so they'll not have to answer to God for seeking to change his character from being LOVE and into that which is unrecognized in scripture. Here's hoping some will.

I think if a man KNOWS the congregation don't want a Calvinist type of pastor and they proceed to canvas for that place it would be pretty unethical. Without being presumptuous (maybe I am here in saying this) but I think after listening to a person preach for 1-3 month I would pretty much know what they are. There's just certain key word statements if you hear them say them repeatedly then you know what they are.
