No one was chosen to be in Christ but those in Christ were chosen to be holy and blameless

as all spiritual blessing are in Christ

Calling the Gospel foolishness is dangerous.

Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

People were chosen in Christ before the foundation, and holy and blameless they are in Him, and they shall partake of all spiritual blessings in time like their regeneration and faith and repentance, believing the Gospel.
