Understanding God Plurality as one Person

God is only one person. not a trio. To understand God’s Plurality as one Person, one must begin at the beginning.
Scripture #1. Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Here in verse 26 we see the plurality of God as one Person. Because the very next verse confirms this. Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

And this is certified by God himself in flesh. Take special note of verse 4. Matthew 19:3 "The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?" Matthew 19:4 "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,"

Here God in flesh, the Lord Jesus ….. who cannot lie, states God is a “he” who made man male and female in the beginning. now if one says he or she believes that the Lord Jesus cannot LIE, (which is true), then in earnest we all must return to Genesis chapter 1 and find out why God said, “us” and “our” in verse 26 and in the very next verse say “he” and “his” which are single person designations, or as one poster says single pronouns. And there is nowhere in the bible that say the angels help God in Creation, he was ALONE, and BYHIMSELF according to Isaiah 44:24 which confirms what the Lord Jesus said in Matthews 19:4. Genesis 1: 1 is CLEAR and hold the key as to who made all things. as the saying is true, "if one want to finish correct, start correct. and Genesis 1:1 is the starting place..... the BEGINNING.

and if we start at Genesis 1:1 then we will know why the bible says “us” and “our” in Genesis 1:26, and “he” and “his” in the very next verse Genesis 1:27.

If one is honest, and seek the truth, then one must first, A. accept what the Lord Jesus said in Matthews 19:4 and B. find out why the scriptures states “us” and “our” in Genesis 1:26, and then states “he”, and “his” in the very next verse.

101G will entertain any scriptural answer to this understanding. Let it be scripture pertaining to God as a single person that indicate a Plurality of more than ONE PERSON.

Scripture #1. Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

Us and Our are plural pronouns which means more than 1 Person.

Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image
27 So God created man in His own image

The one God is more than 1 Person.

did you read the op? it did not ask for an opinion, but scripture to present your claim. but we must meet people where they are at. so, did the Lord Jesus in Matthews 19:4 say more than one person as God made man male and female? yes or no.

Yes

I don't care. I don't have to do what you ask.
see, this is why you need not answer. "101G will entertain any scriptural answer to this understanding. Let it be scripture pertaining to God as a single person that indicate a Plurality of more than ONE PERSON."

now, where is your scriptural support to contradict the Lord Jesus words. U have none, so you're dismissed.

I wanted to. You didn't say in the OP that I shouldn't.

Correct. There is nothing to refute the Lord Jesus. In fact, in John 14:23 the Lord Jesus refers to Himself and the Father using plural pronouns - not just once but twice - Genesis 1:26 does so three times, so you're refuted.

you still cannot READ?.... implied, do you know what that means? if not look it up.

so you just certified that God is a single person.
in John 14:23 the Lord Jesus refers to Himself and the Father using plural pronouns - not just once, but twice, so you're refuted.
and you don't understand why, do you. this is what the topic is all about. "do you know why in John 14:23 he uses the term/title "Father?" the same reason why he use the term God of himself as "MY GOD", listen and Learn, Revelation 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

who name did he write upon him that OVERCOMETH? was it his name, that is "MY" God, or is it two Gods who wrote their names on the OVERCOMER....... think before you answer.......

I can read and I know what a plural pronoun means.

You don't know what a plural pronoun means.
answer Revelation 3:12 PLEASE tell us A. How many names/Names was written on the Head of the Overcomer, and do the Lord Jesus who is God, have a God. Listen, "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

so, do the Lord Jesus have a God? read Revelation 3:12 again, and B. who name did he write? this will answer your, "what a plural pronoun means"

thanks in advance........ (smile),

Understand what a plural pronoun is this time.
so we can take this as A. you cannot understand, B. cannot READ, C. U are IGNORANT to the Scriptures, and D. Just lost to following instructions. or all of the above. though so.

You are dismissed. until you can come with scripture, you're IGNORED.

You and I = We

Plural pronoun.

You and I are not the same person.

Thanks!
thank God that U and 101G is not the same person. but the Lord Jesus is one person who is the Father. scripture, Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me." is the ARM OF GOD A SEPARATE PERSON FROM GOD?", no. now Isaiah 53:1 "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" Isaiah 53:2 "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."

Fred, is he that grow up before him, is this the same person who is God's "OWN ARM" YES or NO?

GINOLJC, to all.
Since no trinitarians can properly respond with scripture. 101G will. to understand the plurality of God as "ONE" person, is found in the concept of "EQUALLY SHARNING" of oneself in Ordinal Designimation in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK. and this concept is found in the very first verse of the bible. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." there are two words in the verse that confirms this concept. by the way this concept is label by 101G as "Diversity" of the Godhead or as said, "The EQUAL SHARING" of oneself in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK. this definition is revealed in verse 1. the words "Beginning" and "God" are the keys to understanding "Diversified Oneness". the term "Beginning", it is the Hebrew word, H7225 רֵאשִׁית re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank.
2. (specifically) a firstfruit.

[from the same as H7218]
KJV: beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
Root(s): H7218

notice definition #1. this is the first clue to God plurality. let break-down this first definition. "The First", this is an Ordinal designation in PLACE, TIME, ORDER, and RANK. question, "How so?" in A. PLACE? answer, from the Beginning, the OT. title LORD/Father. because he God, (JESUS), CREATED and MADE all things in the beginning, per Isaiah 44:24, and John 1:3. B. in TIME, that was to come. this is why he, (God/JESUS), is called the "I AM THAT I AM", which is translated in TIME, "WHICH IS WHICH WAS WHICH IS TO COME" PER Revelation 1:4. title in time to come, Lord/Son, because in TIME to Come, he, (God/JESUS), REDEEMED, and SAVED, all that he created and made in the Beginning. C. in ORDER. the clear designations in TIME, PLACE, and Now, the Order. First, "LORD", Last "Lord". D. in RANK, as the Father, the Ordinal First in this EQUAL SHARE of himself. and Son, the Ordinal Last. as clearly stated in Isaiah 41:4, and Isaiah 48:12 the same one person.

this is just the definition "Beginning", as we can see in the term "BEGINNING" it shows God's plurality in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK. next the term God. it shows HOW he (God/JESUS) is a plurality of himself in TIME, PLACE, ORDER, and RANK.
