The Unitarian belief that Jesus is not God causes those who offer worship to the Father's Throne (where Jesus sits) to be guilty of idolatry.

A child knows when mother and father are not joined in a perfect relationship.
I agree
But regardless of whether the relationship is bad, good, or "perfect" as you state, the child knows that mom and dad ar NOT a single being.

So, why bringing as literal something that you know is metaphorical?
Husband and wife are NOT one being. They are NOT one flesh.

God has one single mind, because God is a "He" (not in terms of gender, but singularity and personhood). God is not a "They".
You love HIM
You worship HIM
You submit to HIM

You don't love a Council, or worship a Council, or submit to a Council.

Who said that God was a single being? I didn't.

You did it with a "chair". Physician. Heal thyself.

Sure "they" are. Is your god incapable of sharing in the Glory of the Son?

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

So lets take @Pancho Frijoles appeal to "throne" as being a "chair".

If what he says is true, then we are in big trouble when we swear by God's chair............

Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

God has no buttocks.
God does not sit.
God does not have a throne.
Such throne is a metaphor, based on a real object, which is a chair where someone with authority sits.

Don't treat yourself as a baby. You are an intelligent grown up.

No I do not think it is just a metaphor

No I do not think it is just a metaphor

any more than one cluster of grapes is a metaphor

The text in Genesis doesn't say "a cluster of two bodies" or "a meeting of two minds". If the text said that, I would agree with you that it should be taken literally. But it says "one flesh", and this is a metaphor.

A husband can die while the wife remains alive.
A husband can die from anaphylaxis while eating fish while the wife may have fish as her favorite dish.
A husband can get tired while the wife is full of energy.
They are NOT one flesh, in a literal sense.

Never stated it did

but many grapes can form one cluster

I think of God as one being in three substances. Not 3 separate beings. Revelation has the one triune being ..since it is Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaking to the churches with Jesus being given terms used for the Father 'alpha and Omega, first and last'

Sure "they" are.
Then the Bible would treat God repeatedly as "they" or "them" or "theirs".
Instead, the Bible treats God repeatedly as "he", "his", "him".
Not only the Bible.... YOU, my friend treat God as a singular person.

I am under the impression that most Trinitarians are closet Unitarians.
In your heart of hearts, you all relate with God as One Single Mind who thinks of you, loves you and takes care of you.
