The Issue of Limited Atonement

A answer for 1 Jn 2:2

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Most today ise this scripture to oppose limited atonement, but it doesnt,in fact it supports it. Now here's a answer from a Gospel writer that is legit,

The Greek word for world in 1 John 2:2 is κοσμου (cosmo). That's where we get the word Cosmology from which is the Study of the Entire World, not just bits and pieces of it where believers live in.

Calvinists are so silly.

The people Christ came to save was a seed ,not all mankind but His Seed Isa 53:10-11

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Heb 2:16-17

16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Rom 4:16

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

The promise is Salvation to the seed ! Isa 45 25 Also see Rom 4:13; Gal 3:16-18

In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Atonement is for the κοσμου (cosmos) world.
Salvation for the believers.

It was explained to you,but you cant see it.

If God wants everyone saved, why then did He not provide a Savior for all instead of exclusively for His sheep, His called out ones: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the CHURCH and gave Himself FOR IT; that He might sanctify and cleanse IT. (Eph. 5:25,26).

The church are those called out of the world, thats who He gave Himself for exclusively,
He is the Saviour of His Body the Church Eph 5:23

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

He did, it's in the Bible.

5 Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on the law shall live by it. 6 But the righteousness based on faith says, Do not say in your heart, “Who will ascend into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 or “Who will descend into the abyss?” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach); 9 because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved. Ro 10:5–10.

That Romans passage is the Church

It's For man believes with his heart.
Its for the elect. in Rome, Paul is specifically referring to them Rom 10:1-4

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

And he knows its an elect remnant in Israel that will be saved Rom 9:6,27

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
