The Bible does not teach to pray to Jesus

182 pages and over a year later, this thread stands unrefuted because Scripture cannot be added to nor changed no matter how cleverly one argues.

The fact still remains that there are no instructions, commandments, or teachings to pray to Jesus in the entire Bible.

This means Jesus isn't God. Scripture only teaches to pray to God, the Father.

Matthew 6
6But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
9So then, this is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
whoa!! You are going to use a sermon to Jews before Jesus's resurrection to make an argument against praying to Jesus after his resurrection. Your argument is more anachronistic.

Oh. Was wondering if you were coming back. You keep getting knocked down but try again to make a viable argument.

God who blots out sins is the Lord who sends Jesus Christ. Notice how the Lord who blots out sins sends Jesus, but is not Jesus.

Acts 3
19Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away, 20that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.

So I ask you, have you called on the Lord to be saved? His name isn't Jesus, it's YHWH.

The Lord we call on to be saved is the God who certified the man Jesus.

Acts 2
21And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
22Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

The only teaching on who to pray to in the Bible is still the Father. Jesus taught this to his disciples and it applies to non-Jewish people as well.

So far my work here has been an amazing success aside from just a few stragglers. I was just giving the rest of you guys some time to repent and convert to Christianity without feeling the need to argue. I understand, you all must feel on the defense a lot and in that way it might be easy to lose sight that you all are actually still needing to repent, no matter how long you argue. Gave you guys a bit of time to rest and possibly make a new years resolution to do it right this year.

sure. you have been giving me lots of sleepful nights wondering when you would come up with something that challenges the Triune God.

Sometimes a good point is about what the Bible doesn't say. Such as it never teaching anything about a triune god, to worship a triune god, to pray to a triune god. Zeus and Hermes are actually mentioned in the Bible, your god isn't. Acts 14. That doesn't bother you at all? It would bother me if the one I call "God" like you do wasn't a figure in my Bible. That's a problem.

It is only a problem for understanding the Triune God by those who do not understand the Bible. Go figure. I'll probably leave you alone with your novel, new, gnostic, private doctrines and religion.

Thank you for your detailed reply.

2026 NEW YEAR and time for you to receive Salvation

Lord of Salvation is YHWH
There is only One Lord by whom we can be Saved = Lord Jesus Christ

2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

1 Cor 8:16 - Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live;
and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Acts 2:21 - And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved = Lord Jesus Christ
Acts 4:8-11 - let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ
This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” = Lord Jesus Christ

There is "no other name you @Runningman can be saved"

Obey the FATHER and you will be Saved from your sins = Philippians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Prayer to Jesus

John 14:13–14 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me
anything in My name, I will do it.

Acts 7:59–60 (NASB 95) — 59 They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” 60 Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep.

1 Pet 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Cor 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:
2 Corinthians 12:8–10 (NASB 95) — 8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Matt 15:25
But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

Luke 23:42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!”
