One God in Three Persons

Excellent study! I love how you clearly reasoned that propitiation clashes with and withers away when you realize that there is a future Judgment Day.

The N.T. writers' emphasis on the atonement is on the side of expiation rather than propitiation, which is only used twice in the epistle of 1 John. Gods’ wrath is still future and will judge those who reject His Sons atonement for sin. Gods’ wrath was not poured out on the Son for sin otherwise there would be no future wrath from God because of sin.

If Jesus is the only person in the Godhead, where did the voice come from that declared, “This is my beloved Son”? Did He trisect Himself into a voice from heaven, the dove wafting down through the sky, and His body on the bank of the river? No. This was not simply a clever act of holy smoke and mirrors, but rather a regal reunion revealing the truth of the trinity. And on top of this, it is through the shared authority of these three persons that we are commissioned to baptize. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19).
the voice from heaven at the Lord Jesus baptism. where do it say it's the Father's voice here at the baptism.? it simply said "A VOICE". many as you assume it got to be the Father's Voice. well lets see.
in the book of Genesis, God told Abraham to go to a certain Mountain and sacrifice his "ONLY SON" to him. Listen, Genesis 22:1 "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am." Genesis 22:2 "And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of." Genesis 22:3 "And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ***, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him." Genesis 22:4 "Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off." Genesis 22:5 "And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ***; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you."

now to the sacrifice, Genesis 22:7 "And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?" Genesis 22:8 "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together." Genesis 22:9 "And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood." Genesis 22:10 "And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son."
LISTEN CAREFULLY, Genesis 22:11 "And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I." Genesis 22:12 "And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me." (STOP FROM ME, THE ANGEL?). Genesis 22:13 "And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son."

HOLD IT, WHO SPOKE FROM HEAVEN? the angel of the LORD. .... (Smile). let's go on, Genesis 22:15 "And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time," Genesis 22:16 "And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:" (STOP WHO IS SPEAKING FROM HEAVEN?) Genesis 22:17 "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;"

in Hermeneuts, there is an application called NEAR and FAR. what happen before happens again. here the angel of the LORD spoke .... FROM HEAVEN FOR THE LORD. and at the Lord's Jesus baptism it said a voice.... a voice ... a voice spoke from heaven. the scriptures never said it was the Father's voice people ASSUMED, never assume, for if you do, then you run the risk of putting the scripture noose around your neck. if the scriptures never say it's the Fathers, voice, don't you say it. say just what the bible says, don't add nor take away from the Word of God.

now 101G challenge anyone to produce the scripture that says .... here at the Lord Jesus baptism, that it's the Father's voice.

101G.

now 101G anyone challenges you to produce the scripture that says .... here at the Lord Jesus baptism, that it was not the Father's voice. You're above post didn't do that, Large font different colored text but no proof.

Likewise, the names for God found in Genesis and elsewhere tell us volumes about our Creator. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” (Genesis 1:26).
There was only "ONE" person at Genesis 1:26.
