Isaiah 53:5 The chastisement of our peace was upon Him

Christ is the Law, the Law Giver, the Creator, God Incarnate.

Oh wait God cursed Himself, killed Himself, poured wrath on Himself.

hope this helps !!!
How IGNORANT, listen and Learn, Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me."
now, who is God's OWN, "ARM?". let the bible speak, Isaiah 53:1 "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" BINGO. who is the "ARM" of the LORD? once more, Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me." it is God himself in the ECHAD. his, his, his, own ARM.

God's OWN ARM is him, the LAST, the Ordinal Last..... Oh my, MY, MY, Must 101G open Bible Study? 101G been saying this over and over,

now, since we're in Isaiah 53, yes, let study chapter 53...... God Diversified, or SHARED EQUALLY in Flesh. Oh yes, this is getting Good.

5 Redemption
There are many other facets of the NT doctrine of the atonement,
but space permits mention of but one more: redemption. In the
ancient world, the notion of redemption had to do with the buying
of prisoners of war out of captivity or of slaves out of slavery.
The payment could be called a ransom.

For certain OT sacrifices,
a ransom might be substituted for an animal sacrifice as a means of
atonement.

God is called Israel’s Redeemer, though as God He
need not pay a ransom to liberate people. God’s great redemptive
act in the OT is the Exodus signaled by the Passover.
As we have seen, Jesus described his mission as giving his life as
“a ransom for many” (Mk 10.45). His life served as a payment for
our liberation from sin’s captivity.
Similarly, NT authors did not
think of our redemption as costless: “you were ransomed ... with
the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish”
(I Pet 1.17–18); “In him we have redemption through his blood”
(Eph 1.7); Christ offered “his own blood, thus securing an eternal
redemption” (Heb 9.12). Paul could therefore remind the

Corinthians, “You were bought with a price” (I Cor 6.20).

The author of Hebrews echoes Jesus’s words at the Last Supper
in seeing his redemptive death as inaugurating a new covenant and
forgiveness of sins: “He is the mediator of a new covenant ... since
a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgressions
under the first covenant” (Heb 9.15).
John describes his vision of
worship of the exalted sacrificial lamb:
You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slaughtered and by your blood you ransomed for God
saints from every tribe and language and people and nation;
you have made them to be a kingdom and priests serving our God,
and they will reign on earth.
(Rev 5.9–10)

Thus is fulfilled the frustrated intention of the old covenant: “you
shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation” (Exod 19.6).

Any adequate theory of the atonement, if it is to commend itself as
a Christian atonement theory, must make peace with the biblical
data we have reviewed.
As we turn to survey the history of dogma
regarding the doctrine of the atonement, we therefore do well to
keep in mind Farmer’s comment: “Some exegetes appear to ...
think of Christian doctrine as having come into being largely
through church councils later in the history of the church.
The truth is that Christian doctrine begins with biblical texts and
with the earliest interpretations of those texts, which we find in the
New Testament itself” (Farmer 1998, p. 275)

And the Payment.

Who else could pay the price of sin?

Reagan was a fine president, but I just don't think he could do it.
the divided god accomplished it be rejecting his son, pouring out his anger/wrath/ vengeance upon him, causing his suffering/torment/pain then leaving him all alone and abandoning him and turning his back on him for hours severing their relationship that was once perfect but now no longer exists while he lay there bleeding, wounded, cursed, mocked, ridiculed all because of gods anger needs to be appeased. the cosmic child abuse. a god I could never serve, believe in and is pagan- the pagan practice of sacrificing children to the to the angry god called Molech.

thank God for the LIGHT. on point... and Reagan, he was too old to get any other thing out of him..... (smile)... lol

Good work.

Old is the keyword, and we are in the "OLD" testament now. question civic, do you understand the anthropomorphism God uses in Isaiah 63:5 concerning his "OWN ARM?"

#1. God's own arm. is an anthropomorphism but very important. A. who is it. and B. it answers several NT Doctrine. to start, read up first on 2 Chronicles 32 and get a understanding of what is a "ARM of FLESH" is. and we will discuss on Isaiah 53.

I hear you-where there is knowledge-stay not ignorant.

As Confucius said, "Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance." The quote is from Confucius, an Ancient Chinese Philosopher.

The "ARM" of God is God's "POWER" in a HUMAN BODY. this also answer the unitarian question about the Lord Jesus.
Based on 2 Chronicles 32, "an ARM of FLESH" is answering why the Lord Jesus was in Humility, or obedience".

just as an army, (an ARM of FLESH), as with king Sennacherib. the Lord Jesus in a G2758 κενόω kenoo (ke-no-ō') state while in Human flesh, was in obedience. this is why he said, "I do nothing of myself". just as any army, it must be authorized to act. no army just go and fight against another country on it own. it must be authorized or given POWER to do that. well at the Baptism of the Lord Jesus, he was given such power. scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:19 "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." when the Holy Spirit descended on him at his Baptism this was the authorizations or the anointing to do the work of God. as he said "NOT MY WILL BUT YOUR WILL".

101G will stop here to give anyone time to comment, or add anything to this discussion.

The word ARM in Isaiah 53:1 is Strong’s #2220 and it comes from primitive root #2232. #2220 means the arm as stretched out, force, help, mighty, power, shoulder, strength.

Arm#2232 is the primitive root and it sounds like this: zaw-rah’ (the ‘a’ here is like the ‘a’ in ‘at’); It means to sow; to disseminate (publicize, announce, declare, advertise), plant, fructify:—bear, conceive seed, set with a sower, yield.

The letters from right to left:

ZAYIN 7 = completeness, Perfection, Fullness. Means: Sword of the Spirit, Dagger, Weapon or Seed — ZAYIN tells us:

Yeshua is Perfect and the Fullness of the Godhead is now in Him.

Yeshua is the Sword of the Spirit–the Word of God.

He is also the Seed of the Woman Who bruised the head of the serpent.

Hebrews 4:15 we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (perfect).

Colossians 2:9-10 For in Him dwells all the Fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

RESH 200 = Insufficiency, Poverty. Picture: Head Means: Head, Chief, Beginning, Highest, Most Important, a Person, Human Reasoning vs. Obedience. — RESH tells us:

Yeshua is the Head of the church and the Head of the Body.

Colossians 1:18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

AYIN 70= Completion of time. Means: Eye, to See, Understand, Experience, or to be Seen, Window of the soul-good or bad (made of a Zayin and an elongated Yod=Word and Spirit) — AYIN tells us:

Yeshua came in the Completion of time as the Word and the Spirit because He Saw and Understood our need for a Savior.

Galatians 4:4-5 …when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

This Arm to be revealed is none other than Yeshua. Here’s a summary of our discoveries about Him:

Yeshua never sinned and the Fullness of the Godhead is now in Him.

Yeshua is the Sword of the Spirit–the Word of God.

He is also the Seed of the Woman Who bruised the head of the serpent.

Yeshua is the Head of the church and the Head of the Body.

Yeshua came in the Completion of time as the Word and the Spirit because He Saw and Understood our need for a Savior.

In just three Hebrew letters we unearth some amazing treasure. Note also that this is the arm of the LORD–the only self-existent eternal God of all gods and Lord of all lords. Just this one word gives us a lot of revelation about Who He is and what He’s done for us before we ever read another word.

Let’s look at that verse again:

Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

We all know what revealed means, right? I think you will be surprised.

REVEALED is Strong’s #1540 revealed gâlâh, gaw-law’; a primitive root; to denude (especially in a disgraceful sense); by implication, to strip captives in exile; to reveal:— advertise, appear, disclose, discover, publish, remove, reveal, shew, tell, uncover.

When we look at the letters individually something glorious is revealed:

Gimmel 3= Divine perfection Means: Camel, Generous Rich man, To Lift up, to Give, to Benefit, to Toil

Yeshua is Divine Perfection and He is Generous

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (And in His Son He gave us ALL we need—Colossians 2:9-10; 2 Peter 1:2-4 )

Lamed 30 = Blood of Messiah, Dedication to a task. Means: Staff, Goad or Stick, to Teach or Instruct, Authority, to Control, Urge Forward, a Tongue

Yeshua in Divine Perfection gave His life, triumphing over satan.(Colossians 2:15) He Dedicated Himself to the task and poured out His own Blood to set us free. (Ephesians 1:7) He took back the authority satan stole from us and returned it to us. (Luke 10:19)
Hey 5 = Grace. Means: Revelation – 5 is the number of Torah, Behold, Give Attention – (at the end of a word: comes from letter before)

Yeshua is the ultimate Revelation of Grace and truth.

Colossians 1:26-27 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

We are called and equipped to be like Him. Consider these truths and spend some time with Holy Spirit this week. There are likely areas in our lives still open to our cooperation for His transformation.

Shalom.

Real knowledge comes from Christ. You can have the worlds wisdom which is foolishness to God/Christ.

1 Cor 1:5- For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge
1 Cor 2:16- But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Cor 12:8- To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit
2 Cor 1:12- in the holiness and sincerity that are from God--not in worldly wisdom, but in the grace of God

hope this helps !!!

This Arm to be revealed is none other than Yeshua. Here’s a summary of our discoveries about Him:
correct, don't get ahead of us... ok.... (smile), I hear you. let's take this one step at a time. let get the word of God deep down in our spirit so all may know..... I know you're ready, but let's all come alone at the same pace.... thank in Christ. boy this is Good.

as the old folks say. "hold your horses for a second". let all learn together.

Now do we all understand that this is God in that flesh, THE ECHAD in plain view. at the birth, (the Ordinal Last, Son). and God anointing that flesh at his baptism, (the Ordinal First, Father). the ARM of God is the Ordinal JESUS himself in diversified Spirit, as FIRST and LAST.
