Data on John 1:1

The logos is an “it” not a “him.” God made everything through and according to His logos, His plan and purpose, and with wisdom. The logos was God’s plan and purpose, especially as it was put into action and tied together with His wisdom.
did not ask you that, 101G asked, is the "Him", IN JOHN 1:3, which is referencing a person, is the same one person in Isaiah 44:24 who MADE ALL THINGS, the LORD? yes or no.

ONCE MORE, the scriptures, John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:2 "The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." the bible say "him". him is a PERSON.

NOW, Isaiah 44:24 "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;"

LAST TIME. is the "LORD", (a Person), in Isaiah 44:24 is the same ONE PERSON, the "HIM" in John 1:3 "WHO MADE ALL THINGS", YES or NO?

looking to hear a yes or no.

Yes you did ask me that. All things were made by it. God's plan and purpose, and with wisdom. The logos was God’s plan and purpose, especially as it was put into action and tied together with His wisdom.

And so because the Jews said he said he was the son of God does not make the Jews believe he was God.
But they believed by Him saying He is the Son of God, He was saying He is God/Equal with God, which is who the Son of God is , thou they didnt believe Him Jn 10:33,36

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

still cannot answer .... can you, because you're caught in a LIE. Oh well, is not God's plans, his purpose, and wisdom, HIM? and did not 101G asked is the "HE" in John 1:3, (his plans, his purpose, and wisdom), is the same one person in Isaiah 44:24?

when people evade the "TRUTH", as you say on, "purpose", they intend to LIE. 101G can see the true colors of peoples when they are revealed in lies. as the scriptures clearly states, "you will know them by their FRUIT".

LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, .... Oh DEAR :D YIKES!.......

Peterlag said,

The logos is an “it” not a “him.”

so wisdom is a "it" too? 1 Corinthians 1:24 "But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."

my God.

to all,
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:2 "The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

A. many say that the Word here is Christ. 101G say NO..... NOT AT THE BEGINNING. for the Word was made flesh 4,000 years Later. many misunderstand this, for .......... many misunderstand Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 9:6 clearly tells us who the LORD is and who the Word/Lord is .... at the beginning, and 4,000 years later. what was "BORN" was flesh, bone and blood, a temporary/NATURAL life. what was Given is eternal, everlasting, and Spirit. in a dispensation of the ECHAD of himself in a designation of ordinal First and Ordinal Last, and this dispensation is the "EQUAL SHARING" of oneself. THIS IS THE EQUAL WITH ...... OF ONE'S OWN-SELF. supportive scripture, Philippians 2:6 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:" BINGO, there is the true revelation of the Godhead. note the scripture states, "Equal ... WITH", not Equal "TO", but "Equal WITH", indicating the same one person. this is revealed also in the OT of FIRST and LAST. supportive scriptures, Isaiah 41:4 "Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he." Isaiah 48:12 "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last."

this is clear as day.

Neither John 1, or Isaiah 9:6, or Philippians 2:6 is a teaching on the trinity. None of these verses are part of a whole paragraph or chapter teaching that we should believe or confess that Jesus is God.

Note on Isaiah 9:6:
The Hebrew phrase in Isaiah 9:6 that most English versions translate as “Mighty God” is el gibbor and is translated “mighty hero” in other translations.

Note on John 1:1:
Jesus Christ is not a lexical definition of logos. The verse does not say "In the beginning was Jesus." The "Word" is not synonymous with Jesus, or even the "Messiah."
And this is clear as day.

Dear Antichrist,

There is nothing about the trinity I cannot respond to and have a gazillion times already. You simply do not accept what I write. No matter how many time I tell you John 1:1 is not a teaching on the trinity. You continue to ignore what I write like if I never responded and then later you post John 1:1 a million more times and if I stop responding you say I'm not responding. You even get nasty telling me I lie.

If I said the king was my father. I would be making myself a prince being part of the kingdom of the king. That's all the Jews were referring to. The Jews would not have considered Jesus a threat, but insane if he had walked around saying he was God. But it was a threat for Jesus to claim to be the Messiah of God and also walk around doing miracles. Jesus had not been claiming to be God in the flesh and this is why the Jews never asked him at his trial if he was God in the flesh, but instead they asked him about what he had been claiming to be, which was the Messiah. Mark 14:61-62 records the High Priest asking “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" And Jesus said "I am.” The High Priest tore his garments and said he deserved to be put to death when Jesus stated he was the Messiah. So we see that the Jews correctly assessed that Jesus had been claiming to be the Christ, and that Jesus indeed said he was the Christ, and also that the Jews thought his claim was worthy of the death penalty.

and how is EVERLASTING FATHER Translated in Isaiah 9:6?

AS for the term Word, in John 1:1 how come the bible said the WORD was made "Flesh?". so pete, tell us all, what was the word before manifesting in flesh?

also, you cannot answer if the person in John 1:1-3 is the same one person in Isaiah 44:24 .... "WHO MADE ALL THINGS". thought so.

you been reproved enough........ bye.

I don't even need to look up Isaiah 44:24 to answer you. That's how funny it is to me when good people like you say I can't answer or I have no answers. I don't even know what Isaiah 44:24 says. And I can answer your question without even looking it up to see what it says. And mention of a God in Isaiah is God the Father of Jesus Christ. John 1:1 is referring to God's plan and wisdom. See how easy that was. Didn't even need a Bible.

Claiming to be the Son of God was claiming to be God, they understood that, and charged Him with Blasphemy. The Son of God had Deity Ps 2:11-12

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

You had to be Deity to put Trust in, anything short of that was a curse Jer 17:5

Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

Ps 118 9

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

Im afraid you dont know the ramifications of Jesus claiming to be the Son of God !

And His resurrection declared His Deity Rom 1:4

4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

you have told 101G all and 101G means all he needs to know. so, thanks for the reply, and you're right ... "You don't even need to look up Isaiah 44:24 to answer 101G". but we suggest you practice when you have to answer to God.

stay safe.......

There is no language anywhere in the world that says the son of God means God. And the Jews were not that unread to think that son of means God. You guys got nothing. No teaching on this anywhere in the Bible. Absolutely nowhere. You use pieces and bits of half verses and words that are all taken out of context or twisted into stuff like son of God means God. There's no teaching on the trinity anywhere in the Bible. No whole paragraph or chapter teaching that we should believe or confess that Jesus is God.

Also there's no teaching on why God would come to the earth as a man. Such a concept accomplishes nothing. Romans says a man (Adam) caused sin to enter into the world, and also that a man would have to redeem it from sin. Some theologians teach that only God could pay for the sins of mankind, but the Bible specifically says that a man must do it. The book of Corinthians makes the same point Romans does when it says “For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead” (1 Corinthians 15:21).

If there is a trinity then why not just come out and say it? Why do we have to jump all over the Bible cutting and pasting pieces of words that are scattered all over the Bible? Why not just teach it? I know enough about how the Bible is written in the New Testament and in the Gospels to know if there was a trinity it would have been taught. The Gospels would have clearly said...

Verily, verily I say unto you that I am Jesus and I'm also God.

The Epistles would have writings like...

Yay, I Paul do testify that Jesus who is God came down from heaven to be a man for us. And we do know and testify that this same Jesus who you crucified is God. And so let us bow our knee to the one and only true God-Man Jesus Christ.

And yet there's nothing like that anywhere. Not in the Old or New Testament. Not even one complete verse like that.
