Only if his goal was to save all regardless of their response of faithSorry, if you say Christ died for people He didnt save and make new, then you are saying He failed. See His Redeeming death makes them He died for people zealous of good works Titus 2:14
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Eph 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Seeing as that is not the case there was no failure except for the failure of those who refused to believe.
