Calvinism makes man a new creation apart from Christ

All of it is of Grace, even the Faith/Believing is by Grace, none ot it is of ourselves. If you say Faith is of ourselves, you contradict the very thing Eph 2:8-9 is saying.

Believing is through Grace not of ourselves Acts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

Is Grace of yourself ?

So does God believe for you

Does faith come by means of works

Would any bible writer really bother to inform of such?

According to you free-willers faith is a work, because you insist "This is the work of God" means "This is the work required by God".
Not a work in terms of something that earns merit

Romans 4:16 (ESV) — 16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

Romans 4:4–5 (ESV) — 4 Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. 5 And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

True. Jesus is the AUTHOR and perfecter of our FAITH.
Thats correct, we believe because of Grace Acts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

That word through, dia means:

on account of, as a result of, owing to Grace.

It's not worth arguing with you. If you have half a brain, you know why you're misrepresenting the truth by saying "God believes for you".
LOL

That is not argumentation that is ad hominem

Faith involves ones mind, and ones will.

One must commit oneself to the object of faith

How can that happen, not of yourself?

@TomL

Faith involves ones mind, and ones will.

It does, but not of the natural man as you falsely declare, but the new regenerated man, or of the New Heart Ezk 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
