Calvinism makes man a new creation apart from Christ

Nobody said that. The New Creature believes by Grace cts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:
so then faith is of yourself

Faith is part of the New Creation[Not of ourselves]. His death produces that. You deny it ! How does one become zealous of good works without Faith ? DUH
As usual you ignored the scripture references

John 20:31 (NASB 2020) — 31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.

John 5:24–25 (NASB 2020) — 24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. 25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

John 3:36 (NASB 2020) — 36 The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

John 5:40 (NASB 2020) — 40 and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

John 6:53 (NASB 2020) — 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.

Sorry you cannot be a new creation if you are not in Christ through faith
Faith is part of the New Creation[Not of ourselves]. His death produces that. You deny it ! How does one become zealous of good works without Faith ? One for whom Christ died was in Him when He died for them Eph 2:6

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Faith is part of the New Creation[Not of ourselves]. Eph 2:8-10

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Its the "Saved" part that is the "Gift of God".

Its the "Faith" that God accepts.... ."Faith is counted by God"... to then GIVE you the GIFT of "SAVED".. @brightfame52

All of it is of Grace, even the Faith/Believing is by Grace, none ot it is of ourselves. If you say Faith is of ourselves, you contradict the very thing Eph 2:8-9 is saying.

Grace does not mean effectually or irresistibly caused

You repeat yourself and ignore replies

It's not an effectual or irresistible cause

And such posters have tunnel vision. If they're going to claim God chose some to be the elect and chose for others not to be then why aren't they asking the same question why? It doesn't matter what answer they might drum up.....if one wanted to wax philosophical they can still ask why? He therefore is in the same boat as the one he claims is seeking to stonewall a question he wants an answer for. You have though Doug provided the answer that Jesus gave about it. They reject God because they love the darkness and sin. (as we see in Jn 3:19)
They would say it is the secret will of God according to his good pleasure! He doesn’t have to explain himself to us, nor disclose how his revealed will and secret will are compatible. In other words, it’s a mystery!

Sort of like one saying we know that Jesus said A, B and C in regard to a certain matter but we reserve the right to say he really meant D, E, and F. If such ones were following Jesus around while he taught I suspect they'd be saying daily to him, Lord were you really serious when you said this or that. We know you said Verily, verily which means all these things were verified but Lord REALLY? I think we better just stay with what he said. God Bless!
