Arminian perspective on Gods Sovereignty and mans free will

Nowhere stated in scripture.
What part? I can't image someone actually believes what he wrote in its entirety.

I'm going to try one more time to convince your otherwise of your position. This is a good spot to do this....

What is will?

God often acts contrary to His will. He isn't self centered like us.

So your are literally saying that the image of God acts contrary to Himself? God can not act contrary to His Character.
No, that’s not what I said: I said that freedom of choice is within the capacities imbedded in the imago Dei. This would include things like being rational, relational, personal. God’s ability to choose is derived from the capacities within his “image”; that is the components that make up his being God. Freedom to choose according to his desires is one of the many things within his natural being, aka, his image!

“Choose for yourself who you will serve” (Josh 24:15) gives the foundational expression of responsibility to choose, and therefore the capacity to choose.

Obviously, all rights and capabilities and capacities are authorized by God to exist.

So are you saying the word choose implies ability?

I would also add this particular passage is written to a particular audience.

The ability to make choices and decisions.

What else would the command to Choose this or that imply. If you do not have the ability. the command is meaningless

John 3 gives us two choices

Believe - Be born again
Do not believe, remain condemned.

The same choices that were given to the children of Israel when moses lifted the serpent on a pole.

Believe - Live
Remain in unbelief - die

Adam had a choice.

Eat of every tree but this one and live
Eat of the one tree and die.

You said "It’s part of the Image of God."

Without qualification as to what you see as "Dei". Your view is entirely different that what the Scriptures teach.

@civic

I started a thread on defining the image of God. Feel free to participate. I plan to destroy your view of the "image of God".
