i am LOOKING at WHERE it all BEGINS, whereas @civic and @TomL are only looking at HOW the election MANIFESTS itself on earth in the person being drawn.

With God naturally but that does nothing at all to posit unconditional election or irresistible grace

that's a rather loaded question since God revealed Himself in person before the written word and to Paul in person in the N.T.
