All Claims of The Son's Deity

John 16
23In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

BTW. Deceiver.....

What does verse 24 say?

Joh 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Pay attention.

Joh 14:14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

Not in Matthew 6:6. I never said otherwise. Matthew only referenced a single event. Jesus said more than what you're referencing.

I referenced John 14:14 you deceiver/liar. You're ignoring this "deceiver/liar". I'm not ignoring other things Jesus said. You're the deceiver. Not me.

So you're getting everything you ask of the Father? I bet you're not. Why are you lying about it.
Cool. I hope you always pray to the Father only.

The textus receptus doesn't contain the word "me" in John 14:14. So the KJV, NKJV, ASV, and some others make no mention of asking for Jesus for something in his name.

This is the correct translation of John 14:14:

John 14 NKJV
14If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
This is why John 16:23,24 specifies to not ask Jesus, but rather to ask the Father in his name. It's because Jesus isn't God.

John 16 NKJV
23“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
You probably missed this, and likely will reject it even now, because you're deceived. I don't mean that in a mean spirited way, but I call it how it is. You should realize that Matthew 6:6,9 is the only teaching on prayer in the Bible. It only mentions the Father. I hope you practice it.

I see this mentioned so many times about Matt 6. In a sense Jesus would have been killed if he said pray to the Son of God. They would have sought to kill him before his time. I would think that anyone who accepts the message of scripture would realize that problem of directly revealing his divinity. Yet, that point is brought up in demonstration of the ignorance of the unitarians.
