The unending requirement of faith

projecting again I see since all I did was quote you.

you said the following so you are being a hypocrite and at the same time condemning yourself- its the LOG in your eye and the spec in mine.

"While your post is nothing more than sour grapes and childlike insults designed to steer men away from the Word's of the Jesus "of the Bible" that I posted."

Nevertheless, your deflections notwithstanding, Neither the Jesus "of the Bible", nor Paul, nor the Law and prophets, teach a "No works Salvation". You do, Calvin did, Wesley did, Kenneth Copeland does. This is undeniable truth, proven by your and their teaching. But the Jesus "of the bible" didn't promote a "No works Salvation", as His Word's I posted clearly show. And therefore, neither do I.

Pointing out these Biblical Truths rile you up, just as Jesus and Paul teaching the Truth of God riled up the mainstream preachers of Jesus Time, and Paul's time. It's a perfectly normal fleshy response God teaches men to rule over.

Perhaps instead of deflecting away from the Words of the Christ, why not consider that they might be true? And it's Wesley, and Calvin and Arminius whose philosophies are the deception?

Jesus, through what was written in Scriptures, pointed out to the mainstream preachers of His Time the truth of God, which exposed their false gospel, and they called Jesus the devil for doing it. Jesus, after the mainstream preachers of His Time ignored the Scriptures that He showed them, that exposed their false teaching, also called them a devil.

In your religion, was Jesus then "Projecting" and being a hypocrite because HE exposed a false gospel the mainstream preachers of His Time was promoting, and pointed out the reason why?

What is the Faith of Abraham, if it is wasn't the "works" of Abraham?

More ad hominem attacks as I don’t follow any of the above mentioned men.

Works are a result of faith as per Ephesians 2:8-10.

When will you believe the Bible ?

Nevertheless, your continued deflection and ignoring of the Christs Words Posted to you notwithstanding, "The Jesus of the Bible", doesn't teach a "No Works Salvation".

And Faith without works is dead.

Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through "faith"; and that "not of yourselves": it is the gift of God:

9 Not of (Man's) works, lest any man should boast.

10 For (Because) we are "his" (God's) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus "unto good works", which God (Not man) "hath before ordained" that we should "walk in them".

Even the Scriptures you post expose the seductive and popular "No works salvation" as a false gospel.

Good works are a result , an evidence one is saved in the same way a good tree produces good fruit, not a means to salvation.

You have it all twisted and backwards

The Abundant life one that is a fruitful life. We can learn many truths from Gods creation and the way He designed things to work.

God created plants to fruit and propagate themselves. Jesus cursed the fig tree. Why? It was green but did not bear fruit so He cursed the tree. A good tree brings forth good fruit. You will know them by their fruits. God is life and created man and plants to bring forth life. I came that you might have life and life abundantly. A fruitful life is Gods design for us. The Fruit of the Spirit in us is our evidence we have life (the Spiritual life, born of the Spirit) which God created us for His good works that He prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. We are Gods workmanship created for that purpose.

The parable of the sower in which the good soil produces much fruit. God did not create man, animals and plants to look good but to multiply, bear fruit, procreate. They(we) are agents of life to bring forth fruit, life. We are created in Gods image to bring forth life, to be fruitful and multiply.

It’s the nature of God to send, distribute, equip, empower and to set free. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to accomplish this in our life. Jesus had to leave to give us the Holy Spirit. Jesus greatest thing He did as a leader of men was to leave. He removed Himself to give us His Spirit. And the result was to Be fruitful!

Sin brought forth death, unfruitfulness, thorns, thistles, labor etc….

Gods truth like water is designed to bring forth life/fruit. Truth is not an end to itself but the foundation for life. Fruit brings glory to God. Salvation is not the end game either but fruit in your life, good works. Faith without works/fruit is dead. James 2:17

Philippians 1:9-11

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11 having been filled with the fruitof righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Titus 3:14
And our people must also learn to devote themselves to good works in order to meet the pressing needs of others, so that they will not be unfruitful.

James 3:18

Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness.

John 15:8

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Psalm 1:2-3
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Ezekiel 47:12
Along both banks of the river, fruit trees of all kinds will grow. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be used for food and their leaves for healing.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Truth is from God and lies are from satan. This is the cosmic battle but the ultimate reality of the battle is that one leads to Life and the other leads to death.

The Parable of the Talents Matthew 25

14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Bearing fruit is a major theme in John 15. The heavenly Vinedresser desires His people to increase their production from fruit to more fruit to much fruit. To make this possible He ensures favorable conditions. Let’s spend a little time gaining insight into how real fruit is produced.

Fruit trees begin to bear fruit soon after they’re old enough to flower. Several factors influence a mature tree’s ability to produce fruit. Just one unfavorable condition may reduce the yield or prevent the tree from bearing any fruit at all.
Bearing Age: The age when trees can be expected to bear fruit depends on the type of fruit you are growing.

Tree Health: Trees must be healthy to produce good-quality fruit. Weak or diseased trees produce either poor-quality fruit or no fruit at all. It is vital to keep trees free from insects and diseases.

Climate and Weather: The fruit is frequently injured by frost. Injured flowers may appear to be normal, but if the pistils (center parts of the flower) are killed, no fruit will be produced.

Pollination: Flowers of fruit trees must be pollinated to produce fruit. Without sufficient pollination, they may blossom abundantly but will not bear fruit.

Cultural Practices: Fruit trees need good cultural practices during the season to maintain an adequate number of good leaves for quality fruit production. These practices include correct placement in sun or shade, spacing, mulching, and weeding.

As you study this lesson, spend time examining your fruitfulness. Ask God to show you how you can begin to bear even more fruit so you can glorify Him.

You teach a faith without any good works whatsoever. That's a Dead Faith according to James.
And you confirming that you believe faith and good works are required for Salvation, whereas Faith and Good works are the fruit and effects of Salvation, following the fact that Christ alone saved us.

It's not me, it's James that's confirming that Faith is Dead without Works. You can file an official complaint at your nearest Church.

Carry on with your Dead Calvinistic Faith.

I understand how precious your adopted religion is to you Civic, and how much you have invested in it, and how important it is for you to justify it. It's the same with the Calvinists, as you know, and it was also for the Pharisees, and me as well, before I came out of her.

But men rejecting God's Judgments and creating their own, rejecting God's Righteousness, and going about to establish your own, is not the fruit of a good tree. It wasn't in the Law and Prophets, it wasn't in Christ's time as a mortal man, and it isn't today, according to Scriptures.

The required "work" of repentance, "Yielding oneself a servant to obey God", as Paul teaches, bringing forth "works" worthy of Repentance, "Putting on" the New Man, are not the "Result" of a "No Works Salvation". They are necessary requirements, just as being a "Doer" of the Christ's Sayings, are a necessary "requirement" for Salvation. At least according to the Holy Scriptures.

You have been convinced of a "No Works Salvation". Calvin, Wesley, Kenneth Copeland and "many" who call Jesus Lord, Lord, also have been convinced of the same. But the Words of the Christ that I posted, and many more, that you still have not even addressed, along with the examples God had written for our admonition, and the Laws God created "For our sakes no doubt", expose this "No Works Salvation" as a false gospel. In the same way the same Holy Scriptures expose "TULIP" as a false gospel.

Everyone has an Exodus Civic, from the religions of this world they were born into. From Abraham to Jesus, everyone is born into a garden where deceiving voices, "Who profess to know God" lie in wait to deceive.

I am hoping that you might be persuaded to reconsider your religious philosophy and bring it more in line with the teaching of the Christ of the Bible. But maybe you can't, as Jesus said;

Luke 16: 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them "from the dead", "they will repent".

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither "will they be persuaded", though one rose from the dead.

The way I see it is that man's salvation is synergistic. Faith without good works is dead. Whether it's saving faith or sanctifying faith or whatever faith, we always have a synergistic role to play. For salvific faith our role is belief and repentance...

You have the same belief as the Pharisees and Judaizers. I am hoping that you might be persuaded to reconsider your religious philosophy of legalism and bring it more in line with the teaching of the Christ of the Bible. But maybe you can't, as Jesus said;

This is the work of God that you believe in the One He has sent. Your self righteous obedience to the law as Jesus and the Apostles taught is anti gospel, anti christ.

Here are some of your fruits Civic,

"Obedience to God is a false gospel"

"God is not a Savior"

"God placed a Yoke of Bondage on the necks of men who trusted Him"

"Jesus came to destroy the Law and Prophets"

"God lied to Abraham's Children concerning their ability to obey His Commandments"

"God is a respecter of persons who judge men according to the DNA they were born with"

"God's Laws were only created "for" the Jews"

All these "fruits", although popular in this world's religious sects and businesses, "who call Jesus Lord, Lord", cannot be supported when considering "Every Word of God".

And the men who promote these fruits, reject God's Word that bring question to them, and engage in a perpetual justification, not of what is written, but toward their own specific adopted religious philosophy. You can see this plainly in the Calvinists religion and you speak to it all the time, but you can't see it in your adopted religion. Just as the Calvinists can see your false gospel, but not their own. Just as the Pharisees could see the false teaching of the Sadducees, but not their own, etc., etc.

I advocate that men place their Faith in God through the Christ of the Bible, as the Examples of Faith in the Bible did. And follow the teaching of the Christ, the Holy One of Israel, both before and after HE became a mortal man.

Bearing false witness is the works of the devil not the fruit of the spirit. Your posts reveal your heart condition

No its you, dont put your works salvation on James.
I'm repeating exactly what James says. Here is the proof:

(James 2:26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

You can file an official complaint about James at your nearest Church. Carry on with your Dead Calvinistic Faith.

The letter of the law kills which is your philosophy.

Second Corinthians 3:6 says, “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” With these words, Paul summarizes the key difference between the Old and New Testaments: the first covenant was based on obedience to the written law (the “letter”), but the second covenant is based on the blood of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

There are two parts to this answer, as we look at both the letter and the Spirit.

First, what does Paul mean by “the letter kills”? Simply that the Old Testament Law, which is good and perfect (Psalm 19:7), reveals all people as law-breakers (Galatians 3:10). The law “kills” in that the penalty for breaking God’s law is eternal death in hell (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8). As God told Moses the lawgiver, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book” (Exodus 32:33). Even if you sin only once in your whole life, it’s the same as breaking all of God’s laws (James 2:10), just as breaking only one link in a chain breaks the whole chain.

The written law—“the letter”—was chiseled in stone by the finger of God and is the unchanging standard by which all are judged. The law cannot give us righteousness or eternal life in heaven (Galatians 2:16). It can only condemn us as sinners, and the sentence is death. Heaven is where perfection is required (Matthew 5:20, 48; 19:16–21), and “the law made nothing perfect” (Hebrews 7:19).

Second, what does Paul mean by “the Spirit gives life”? Simply that the Holy Spirit rescues us from our hopeless situation. God saves us from death and grants us eternal life when we are born again through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (John 3:6), and, later, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are Spirit and they are life” (John 6:63).

The Holy Spirit was active in the Incarnation of our Savior (Luke 1:35). It was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice to God for our sins (Hebrews 9:14). The Spirit is the cause of the new birth (John 3:3–8). It is the Spirit who lives in believers (John 14:17), seals them (Ephesians 1:13), and sanctifies them (Romans 15:16).

Jesus came to give us an abundant life, or life “to the full” (John 10:10). The Holy Spirit living in believers is how Jesus fulfills that promise. The abundant Christian life is marked by the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23). The Old Testament Law could not produce any of that fruit; only the Holy Spirit can, as He lives in us.

The Spirit gives life in that He enables us to reach God’s ultimate goal for us, to be transformed into the glorious image of God’s own Son (2 Corinthians 3:18; also see Romans 8:28–30). Until the day that we see Christ, the Spirit intercedes with God on our behalf, ensuring our continued forgiveness and preserving the promise of God (Romans 8:26–27).

“The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6). Elsewhere, Paul teaches the same truth: “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code” (Romans 7:6). Got?

hope this helps !!!

I'm repeating exactly what James says. Here is the proof:

(James 2:26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

You may be quoting James, but you don't understand James is the issue, he never taught salvation by works as you do.
