The unending requirement of faith

You teach mans faith is a requirement or condition for ones salvation, thats works/law friend ! Jn 3:14-18 doesn't say a word about faith being a requirement for salvation.
Yep just like scripture

John 3:14–18 (KJV 1900) — 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

James teaches that good works is a requirement for justification. Read James 2:24:

24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

And while you're at it, have a look at James 2:26 that declares that Faith without good works is dead.

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

All your complaints and grievances against James can be registered at your nearest Church. I would highly advise against doing that. You should just believe James.

As for John 3:14, you are told to "lift up" Jesus. That is anl vital act towards our salvation.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
You teach faith/works is a requirement for salvation therefore you teach salvation by law keeping, James doesnt teach that heresy, in fact James would tell you this James 2 10

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Elementary reading.

Neither judgment nor mercy are a part of the law, so also neither is faith

further, the commas after each show they are separate items.

You could use some remedial elementary reading help

Who said anything about the law? Stop brewing up strawmen. That's a nasty habit of yours.

Also, stop spitting on what James and John wrote. I highly advise that you believe what they wrote:

,(James 2:24) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

(James 2:26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

(John 3:14) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

@synergy

I did, if anyone requires faith from man for salvation as per thread heading, its law keeping salvation, pay attention please !
Thats what I mean. You keep bringing up your "Law" strawman. Stop brewing up strawmen. That's a nasty habit of yours.

Of course I bring it up since the thread is about faith being a requirement for salvation. If thats true, then law keeping is a requirement for salvation since Faith is a commandment of the Law, Jesus says Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Nope. That's where the Pharisees stumbled. They focused on the Letter of the Law to the detriment of Faith. Read the Book of Romans and see how Paul chastised the Pharisees for focusing on the Law when they should have focused on justice, mercy, and faith which is what Matt 23:23 is talking about.

You on the other hand keep denying what James and John wrote. I highly advise that you believe what they wrote:

,(James 2:24) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
