The Power of the Gospel

Unbeliever are not given life

believers are

John 6:53 (KJV 1900) — 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

John 3:36 (KJV 1900) — 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 20:31 (KJV 1900) — 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

John 5:40 (KJV 1900) — 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Again faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5;22 When an unbeliever is regenerated he has been given the fruit of the Spirit, Faith to believe in Christ.

Unbelievers are not regenerated

There is no life apart from christ

your view is unbiblical

Faith - This is the ability to believe God when the conditions say don’t. Before a person is saved they are spiritually dead and have no faith to believe on the Lord therefore the Lord gives faith as a fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is always salvation first then once we are given faith, we then have the ability to believe. Here the word "faith" is a noun and once we have faith we then have the ability to "believe" which is a verb meaning action. So we have the ability to believe once we are given faith but not before.

I was thinking more like the amazing story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three young men defying the mighty King Nebuchadnezzar and thrown into a fiery furnace.

Sorry saving faith is not a fruit of the spirit

You need saving faith before you can receive the spirit

Galatians 3:14 (ESV) — 14 so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Quit trying to explain away the Truth:

Faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22

There are different kinds of faith and different measures of faith. Faith is natural and faith is a gift relative to service in the Body of Christ. Many have faith in their false gods. It is sincere faith but they are sincerely wrong.

And then there's "Oh ye of little faith".

Jesus Calms the Storm
…25The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” 26“You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm. 27The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”…Matthew 8:26
Jesus can save us from the storms in our lives. That can definitely be used when sharing the gospel to show its power. Makes me think of that old hymn.

There is power, power, wonder working power
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide;
There’s wonderful power in the blood.

Refrain

Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Sin stains are lost in its life giving flow.
There’s wonderful power in the blood.
