'So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.'
(Rom 10:17)
'I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear:
but now mine eye seeth Thee.
Wherefore I abhor myself,
and repent in dust and ashes. '
(Job 42:5 -6)
Forgive me, but no words of mine can add to what is said above. These two verses show that faith in God comes by hearing, by means of the Word of God., and shows also the result of finally seeing, through that very word, the God whose word it is.
I leave these words with you, in the sure knowledge that all who have the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord have had this experience, of seeing and acknowledging that they have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and seek the forgiveness of sin: thereby receiving by the mercy and grace of God, the righteousness of God imputed to them, and the promise of life through His Name.
All glory to God most High!
