The Issue of Limited Atonement

Isa 53 is about particular atonement, and its the scripture ! Now Christ died for our sins according to the scripture Paul preached 1 Cor 15:3-4

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Now no doubt the scriptures Paulhad in mind Im sure are the OT writings, like Isiah- Remember Phillip preached the Gospel from Isiah and it was called scripture Acts 8:30-35

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Now neither Paul or Phillip could have preached from Isaiah 53 and not preach limited, particular atonement. The eunuch would have heard a sermon on particular atonement, for it said Phillip preached to him from Isaiah 53 Jesus

It was prophesied Jesus shall save HIS People from their sins Matt 1:21

The atonement is limited since Christ died as a testator,

Heb 9:16

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

One commentator writes:

Heb 9:16 (KJB)For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Testator - The one who made the will or covenant An inheritance is not passed on to those named in the will or covenant while the testator is still alive. For the inheritance to pass to the inheritors, the death of the testator must take place. We see this everyday in the legal profession when people make out wills. As long as they are alive, their possessions remain theirs but upon their demise, it is then passed on legally and bindingly to the heirs. This verse is also teaching limited atonement. A will or testament is a legal document with the heirs previously named and names cannot be added to the list of heirs once the testator has died. So only those named in the will or last testament of Christ will become saved and no more names will be or can be added to it. So on one can claim they can become saved by their free will. For a person to become saved, they must have been named in the will of Christ which was prepared before the foundation of the world. (Rev 13:8 KJV) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Rev 17:8 KJV) The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. https://www.scionofzion.com/hebrews_9_16_20.htm

That guy is leading you from the Gospel to a false gospel friend
no one is leading me to a false gospel since I defend the true gospel at all costs. I know the gospel, He who is the gospel and how to share the gospel, the hope I have in me with others. Jesus died for all sinners, not some or just a few. All who believe may come, all can drink, all can eat at His table. To as many as RECEIVED Him did He give them the right to become children of God, to as many as believed in His name. Jn 1:12. Jesus said the God so loved the WORLD ( everyone lost ) that WHOSOEVER ( anyone, everyone, all people ) believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Jn 3:16.

hope this helps !!!

You seem to be an adversary to the Gospel, Tulip with particular effectual atonement.

tulip is not the gospel. its as simple as that.

if you preached tulip no one would be saved, no one would want to believe in a fatalistic god who only loves some and damns the rest without every having a chance to be saved.

Christ did not die for them whose names were not written in the lambs book of life before the foundation, like these Rev 13:8-9

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Rev 17:8

8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Christs Death/Blood is limited to them who had a covenant interest in His Blood, the elect of God,
Matt 26:28

For this is my blood of the new testament/covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Zech 9:11

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

Heb 10:29

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb 13:20

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Lk 22 20

20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament/covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.

So when in scripture we see His Blood in reference to His Death, we must remember its for them who have a covenant interest with Christ,

Rom 3 25

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood[of the covenant], to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 5:9

Much more then, being now justified by his blood[of the covenant], we shall be saved from wrath through him.

His Death of atonement was limited to His Brethren as in here Heb 2:17

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

This isnt about ethnic jews, but these many brethren here Rom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

The many brethren are the ones foreknew, and predestinated Eph 1:4-5

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

none of your verses mention atonement how ironic. you are adding to scripture again things that are not mentioned in the passages. we call this EISEGESIS.
