The Bible does not teach to pray to Jesus

I wouldn’t ask Jesus to perform any miracle to believe in Him. Would you?
I know you wouldn’t.

Our faith is not built on water turning into wine or limbs growing back instantly.
Do we need a physical body to touch in order to experience the presence of Jesus in our daily life?
it doesn't change the fact it happened numerous times in Scripture with His miracles.

They didn't literally see God. No one has literally seen God, but God can be seen and heard in the sense of knowing Him as Scripture is already clear about. You were given an example to give you a proper foundation, but you don't want it it seems.

I hope this helps. Case closed. Check mate.
Moses hide his face from the experience.

You tend to not pay attention to everything the Scriptures declare. It is a parallel to the Transfiguration.

At every turn you seek to dishonor Jesus Christ.

Faith in who? Faith has an object. It is not anchorless nonsense.

Jesus performs miracles because we believe in Him. Such is fact. Like today. I believe God can spare Florida from the destructive nature of a extreme hurricane. I've been asking Jesus to do just that.

The gospels tell us that people who came to Jesus and were healed, believed He could heal them. That's all.
Jesus didn't ask them what their specific theological views were. Did He?

In fact, as we can see in Luke 9, when Jesus asked his disciples "Who do the people say that I am?” He had already fed, healed or forgiven a lot of people, regardless of whether they thought He was John the Baptist, Elijah, or another prophet in some kind of reincarnation.

Now let's come back to the current times. Let's imagine five persons who have sinned, sincerely repented and come to God asking for forgiveness

  1. The first believes that "Son of God" means "The Messiah"
  2. The second believes it means "First Being Created by God"
  3. The third believes it means "God manifested as the Son"
  4. The fourth believes it means "A divine person of the Trinity".
  5. The fifth doesn't have an idea of what it means.

Would we have any biblical support to say that one of them will be spiritually healed over the others, on the basis of these theological differences?

@Runningman is not seeking to dishonor Jesus Christ.
If he was seeking to dishonor Jesus Christ, he would be violating the commandments of Jesus Christ systematically and consciously.
You have no knowledge of the intimate life of @Runningman

So, you are making a judgement that does not correspond to what Christ expects from us.

I encourage you to publicly apologize towards our brother @Runningman for such a judgement.

He didn't have to. He already knew them. Once again. You're trying your best to drag down the essence of Jesus Christ. What person would believe Jesus didn't know...... and thusly had to ask....

You might want to pay attention to John 6

Joh 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
Joh 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Like all unitarians. You live in mediocrity not knowing the Scriptures nor power of God.

The 5th is teachable. You obviously are not #5.
The 4th is enlightened.
The 3rd is less enlightened.
The 2nd is horrible lost and absent anything more the message of the Gospel
The 1st is teachable.

You have to believe before you get more information. There is no circumstance wherein a person claims God and rejected the clear teaching of the Eternal value of Jesus Christ.

Men ultimately reveal themselves to others. You're doing the same thing here.

I can read. No need to imply I'm sinful yourself. Use your own standard "You have no knowledge of the intimate life of".....

Hypocrite.

You're not anyone's "savior". @Runningman can answer for himself. He doesn't need you. Physician, heal thyself.

Thank you for going to bat for me against the slanderers and false accusers. I don't seek or require an apology. I am not offended so there is nothing for them to repent to me for. I would encourage them to say their prayers to the Father, as all of Scripture teaches, and I am sure it's pardonable, but God's rich grace and mercy is no excuse to abuse it.

You're lying. I know because I know the Scriptures.

Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Let's pretend that John 14:14 is about praying to Jesus.

Now your position because Jesus taught not to pray to him. See the issue now?

John 16 (KJV)
23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Issue is yours. Jesus mentioned a day. Till that day..... pay attention.

If you're going to reject some Scripture, then make the argument to cast it away... Otherwise, pay attention to what you read.

Can you read? Joshua. Maybe you don't understand Hebrew or Aramaic?
No. There is not a J in Hebrew. Joshua is a Romanized version of Yeshua. Again, Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation. This is sola scriptura. Jesus' name isn't Jehova either.

Joshua,
יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ (yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘)
Noun - proper - masculine singular
Strong's Hebrew 3091: Joshua or Jehoshua = 'Jehovah is salvation' n pr m 1) son of Nun of the tribe of Ephraim and successor to Moses as the leader of the children of Israel; led the conquest of Canaan 2) a resident of Beth-shemesh on whose land the Ark of the Covenant came to a stop after the Philistines returned it 3) son of Jehozadak and high priest after the restoration 4) governor of Jerusalem under king Josiah who gave his name to a gate of the city of Jerusalem

Who said I used the "J". That is how it is written in English. You know very little about linguistics.

Pay attention. All you're doing it copying and pasting. Pronunciations in Hebrew is very difficult. Think.... late 9th century.

Using your reasoning, you are saying that Jesus said to don't pray to him.

Jesus never taught anyone to pray to him or asked for it.

Here's who you need to pray to:

Matthew 6
6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
