Calvinism makes man a new creation apart from Christ

Recieve or indwelt? I'm smelling a category error.
It the biblical context it refers to the same thing

Receiving a person is not receiving a gift from a person

Um one must have faith before he can receive the spirit

Galatians 3:2 (NASB 2020) — 2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

Galatians 3:5 (ESV) — 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—

Galatians 3:14 (ESV) — 14 so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Ephesians 3:17 (ESV) — 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

This is indwelling

John 7:38–39 (ESV) — 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

This also speaks of indwelling

John 14:15–17 (KJV 1900) — 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

as does the above

You dont believe Christ makes a new creature for His Glory ? Isa 43 6-7

6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
You fail to show men receive soteriological blessing apart from Christ

Ephesians 1:3 (KJV 1900) — 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

John 6:53 (KJV 1900) — 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Faith is a Spiritual Blessing that comes with the New Heart
Where have you addressed the point that you need faith to receive the Spirit

It’s interesting that while Eph 2:8-9 says it is through (dia) faith, Paul uses ek in Gal 3:2 instead of dia. Ek, means “out of” and seems to paint the picture of one thing coming out another, perhaps like a child born out of its mother.

So the logical implication of this picture is that “hearing in faith” is the birth canal by which receiving the Spirit is accomplished. And birth canals are already existent before the birthing process can take place. The ability to hear with faith must preexist the receiving of the Spirit.

Hi Doug

Yep There is no getting away from the fact that faith precedes the reception of the Spirit

You failed to address your category error. Receiving and indwelling are not the same thing. Which, of course typical of a Provisionist, has nothing to do with your error.

No, but they are individual acts of individual persons. We receive, God indwells. Logically, one must open the door and invite (receive) one in to allow the other to come in (indwell). God does not do both!

Did you know that becoming a believer is the result of Gods workmanship ? Eph 2:8-10

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we[believers] are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
