I'm going to say one more thing about this topic then I'm going to leave it alone for everyone to "chew on".....
Sometimes it takes time to adjust when you see something you haven't believed your entire life.
There is a logical point to be made there in the context of revelation and the preaching of the apostles. If what Paul said was true in the context of a future earthly kingdom....
Then there would have been no reason for Paul to give his life so that just a few would be saved. If there are promises that Jews have only relative to the "Father", "beloved for the Father's sakes) then the effort becomes unnecessary. It is the same argument relative to replying to Calvinists. It is just different people.
Which is the struggle that takes place for power around us all the time. Power for the narrative. Power for control.
You must also realize that Paul is writing to a group of people that he would soon visit. He is "wetting" their appetite to know the Truth. It is what we do as teachers. We have conversations that produce other conversations. It causes people to seek the Truth.
