󠅤 The Lord sent Jesus Christ

The below passage says the Lord sent Jesus.

My questions are simple. Since Jesus is Lord and the Lord sent Jesus then do you agree that the Father is the Lord? Is there one Lord, two Lords, and can there be two Lords who co-exist without being the same Lord? Anyone here believe there is a hierarchy?

Acts 3 (KJV)
19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

In function, not in being.

The expression 'from the presence of the Lord' (ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ κυρίου) reads equally in reference to the Father and to the Son.

Acts 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and return, that your sins may be blotted out, in order that times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His might.

It says the Lord sent Jesus. What does that mean?

It means the Father sent Jesus.
Great I agree. Then who is the one Lord.

Eph. 4
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

1 Cor. 8'
6But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Jesus sent Jesus?

No.

You asked me who the the 'one Lord' was and then you quoted 2 passages. I gave my answer for each passage.

Speaking of which, I posted this almost a year and a half ago:

So the Lord who sent Jesus isn't the same Lord as Jesus?

In function, not in being.
Function is determined by being.
Jesus and the Father cannot exchange roles, because that would not be compatible with their being.

For example, Jesus could NOT have sent the Father to the World, or to tell the Father what to do and say.
It is not like you and me going in the same car to the shopping mall and agreeing on who will be driving the car.
It is more like your brain and your keyboard: they do different things because they ARE different things.
The relationship between The Father and Jesus will always be asymmetrical, because only one of them is God
