Good one.But you don't
so keep trying and maybe one day you will get half a win
I could ask the same question to you? If God is omniscient and the future is set why do you bother to pray? To change God's omniscience?I did a thread once asking do Calvinists really have a motivation to pray. If everything is ordained whether or know then why pray?
ThanksGood one.
Seems you are conflating foreknowledge and determinationI could ask the same question to you? If God is omniscient and the future is set why do you bother to pray? To change God's omniscience?
Seems you don't know what your talking about and failed to address my point.Seems you are conflating foreknowledge and determination
Sorry you are begging the questionSeems you don't know what your talking about and failed to address my point.
Is the future set? Yup. So why do you pray Tom?
What else is new lolSeems you are conflating foreknowledge and determination
DittoSorry you are begging the question
God's knowing of a future choice does not determine that choice
Calvinist just can't seem to wrap their heads around that.Ditto
I understand what you're saying that it makes me think of that old saying about atheist in foxholes during a battle. They start believing in God real quick and probably start praying.I did a thread once asking do Calvinists really have a motivation to pray. If everything is ordained whether or know then why pray?
I have never claimed it did.Sorry you are begging the question
God's knowing of a future choice does not determine that choice
certain but not necessaryI have never claimed it did.
If a choice is foreknown for certain then it cannot be otherwise.
Because God is relational and responds to menSeems you don't know what your talking about and failed to address my point.
Is the future set? Yup. So why do you pray Tom?
yes knowing something will happen is much different than determining something will happen.certain but not necessary
The reality is the reflection of the choice not the other way around
None the less, you cannot choose differently.certain but not necessary
The reality is the reflection of the choice not the other way around
No, he did. LOLyes knowing something will happen is much different than determining something will happen.
I might know if son is getting married next 4th of July but I did not determine he would get married that day. There are 1000's of such examples that prove knowing a future event is not determining that event.
conflating it all they have since foreknowledge and omniscience are not determinism.
Responds to men who do not exist yet? Referring to His foreknowledge.Because God is relational and responds to men
You asked why do I pray.Responds to men who do not exist yet? Referring to His foreknowledge.
Oh but I could have and then the foreknowledge would have been otherwise than what it wasNone the less, you cannot choose differently.
Was the cross necessary?
