You already admitted that the passage in Isaiah calls Jesus God. So now you are revising what you said?

First off, I have not referenced 1 John 5:7-8 at all, so I don't know why you are bringing it up. There are enough other passages that are explicit about the deity of Jesus that I don't need 1 John 5.

It is you who is changing and privately interpreting the Scriptures, and denying the words of the Apostles.
It would have been a sin for Jesus to accept Thomas' statement that He is God if He were not God (John 20:28). Yet Jesus was without sin, so He must be God.
Isaiah said that the Messiah would be God. Jesus is the Messiah, so Jesus is God.
I could keep going with passage after passage that you will just ignore.

I never said any Scripture called Jesus God. My mind would never even think such a thing. You must have misunderstood me somewhere. You say there is and I was just quoting you that even if there was such a verse that would still not be a teaching on the doctrine of the trinity.

In your post #4451, you said that Isaiah called Jesus God. Is Isaiah not Scripture? If Isaiah is Scripture (and it most certainly is), then the fact that he calls the Messiah (Jesus) God makes it so. There is no misunderstanding here. You don't trust or accept Scripture, or you would not contradict Scripture as you do.

I said someone did) And then you list a verse with 4 words where Jesus is called God (You list a verse. Not me where Jesus is called God) and call it a teaching on the trinity.

Nobody ever showed where the trinity is taught in the Bible. What you show are a couple of words from a half statement that says someone called Jesus God (Someone. Not me) and always out of context. Or you show one word that has grammar that you think means it was referring to Jesus being like God. But you have never given a whole teaching on the trinity because there is none. Not in the Old or New Testament. Nowhere.

This I believe is a big reason why guys like you cannot understand the Bible because you can't read without taking words out of context or not understanding how words are used in the way they are written. Here you accuse me of saying Jesus is God when I never did. So, you can't read.

Really? After all that has been shared, all the unitarian can think of is that everyone else on the earth cannot read scriptures? That hardly makes sense and even if it did make sense applies to unitarians. We have seen the unitarians displaying hyperliteralism. They are skip any sufficient arguments against the pre-existence of the One who became Jesus. If their arguments had merit, then people would have followed them.
It has been a long stay here by several unis and they have yet to come out with any convincing argument of their views against the testimony of scripture. Also, try just focus on the deity of Christ arguments. That is where unis are totally destroyed. The trinity term does not have to exist in scripture to expose the false ideas of the unis, only the deity of Christ evidence.
