The Trinity The Touchstone of Truth

Interlinear:... Mathew 1:23

Ἰδοὺ ἡ παρθένος ἐν γαστρὶ ἕξει καὶ τέξεται υἱόν καὶ καλέσουσιν τὸ

Behold, the virgin in womb will hold , and will bear a son , and they will call the

ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἐμμανουήλ ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον Μεθ’ ἡμῶν ὁ Θεός

name of him Immanuel, which is being translated , with us - God.
GINOLJC to all,
again, is this not what was born of Mary, the Lord Jesus Body? yes or no.

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

There is no Scripture teaching the trinity anywhere in the Bible. No whole paragraph or chapter

teaching that we should believe or confess that Jesus is God. The verses that are used to try to teach it are all taken out of context, or not understood how the words were used in the culture they were written in, or from a bad translation. It's an evil Catholic concept that was sold to the world mostly by the power of the sword.

We should show you but I dont think we are allowed.

Genesis 1:26 = THREE = Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness

Gen 1:27 = THREE = "So ELOHIM created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.".

ELOHIM never lies.........
good, so did the Lord Jesus LIE when he said, ELOHIM is one person? yes or no....... (smile), your answer please.

It seems it would have been clearly stated in the Bible and in the earliest Christian creeds if the doctrine of the Trinity was genuine and central to Christian belief and especially if belief in it was necessary for salvation as many Trinitarians teach. God gave the Scriptures to the Jewish people, and the Jewish religion and worship that comes from that revelation does not contain any reference to or teachings about a triune God. Surely the Jewish people were qualified to read and understand it, but they never saw the doctrine of the Trinity.

Did you consider that the sending of Jesus incarnate could refine their concept of the Godhead? You neglect the evidence in Segal's book Two Powers in Heaven being an issue within Judaism too. Sure you can have your view when you avoid the evidence.

There is no evidence from the Scriptures that anyone believed or taught that Jesus was God. None.

HE never said Elohim is one person.

HE did say that there are THREE Persons who equate to Echad Elohim
Let's take this ONE at a time

you said, the Lord Jesus, "HE never said Elohim is one person." well let's see then. Matthew 19:3 "The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?" Matthew 19:4 "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female," and the "he" here is God. this is confirmed by our brother Mark who recorded the same conversation in his Gospel. Mark 10:6 "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female." so, the "he" in Matthews 19:4 is God.

SECOND, YOU SAID, "HE did say that there are THREE Persons who equate to Echad Elohim". BOOK CHAPTER AND VERSE PLEASE.

Joh 8:21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Joh 8:22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
Joh 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

well you better include all the apostle and the disciple, especially Ananias of Damascus. who clearly said that Jesus is the God of our father. scripture, Acts 22:11 "And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus." Acts 22:12 "And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there," Acts 22:13 "Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him." Acts 22:14 "And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth." Acts 22:15 "For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard."

and the apostle Paul confirms that the God of our father is JESUS.

13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.

14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
