God did preserve the Scriptures in the Greek OT. The Greek OT is exactly what Jesus quoted to those surrounding them.

Jesus wasn't sent to the lost goats of the house of Gentiles, He was sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and the Israeli people spoke Hebrew. The Word of God lives and abides forever for how else will anyone be saved without it?
Peter preached in Acts two from the Hebrew Scripture and three thousand Jews were born-again and saved.

What I do know is that God's Word is eternal just as His Promises are eternal. The Scripture of the Old Testament is NOT obsolete or abolished. The Abrahamic Covenant is everlasting (Gen. 17:7.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Gen. 17:7.

In the NT the Greek word for Jew is an Ethnonym. Which is so ironic considering the senseless claims of @jeremiah1five. The term "Jew" wouldn't even exist without the Greek culture. The word "Jew" was never used in the OT until the book of Esther.

Just FYI. Jew comes primarily from Judah. The tribes of Benjamin and Judah largely separated themselves from Israel under King Rehoboam. God condemned Jeroboam in the book of Amos.

When Paul referenced himself as a "Hebrew of Hebrews" he was appealing to the fact that he came from a "pure" line of descendants that didn't widely marry outside of the 12 tribes of Israel through the tribe of Benjamin.

The word "Hebrew" used in Paul's reference in Philippians 3:4 is rather unique. If anyone could appeal to be in the faithful "flesh" of Abraham it was Paul.
