Comment way off courseThat Christ would come with 10,000 of his angels to judge false prophetsdoes not determine particular men to be false prophets, only that false prophets would be judged

I dont have to point out sozo, he was made a preacher of the gospel, being made a believer is part of thatCare to point out where sózó is in that verse? (Don’t worry, I’m not holding my breath!)
Doug
okay, npJust sayin
Actually it is in the context you ignoreComment way off course
But there is no soteriological argument being made. You are simply assuming your argument and applying it to the background.I dont have to point out sozo, he was made a preacher of the gospel, being made a believer is part of that
Its nothing but salvation ,He was sovereignly made a preacher, witness which necessitates being made a believer. Isa 43:10But there is no soteriological argument being made. You are simply assuming your argument and applying it to the background.

Oy!Its nothing but salvation ,He was sovereignly made a preacher, witness which necessitates being made a believer. Isa 43:10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Who said anything about all israel believing ? God didnt call reprobates to witness, duh<sigh>
1) But not all of Israel believed, did they?
2) This is a corporate statement about the nation of Israel as a whole.
Doug
God’s intent for the entirety of Israel, every single person, is to be a witness to the rest of the world. But not all Israel, indeed for a large part of her history, most of Israel was disobedient in large part. Thus, while God’s plan and desire was for Israel to be a “witness”, they, in large part weren’t, which demonstrates that what God wills isn’t always what happens in terms of man’s response to him.Who said anything about all israel believing ? God didnt call reprobates to witness, duh
Oh me, oh my.Who said anything about all israel believing ? God didnt call reprobates to witness, duh
And based on the need to send Jesus for them, or at least those who would at last hear and believe there could be no better biblical exampleThus, while God’s plan and desire was for Israel to be a “witness”, they, in large part weren’t, which demonstrates that what God wills isn’t always what happens in terms of man’s response to him.
Thats false, God dealt in Salvation matters only with a remnant. Only the Remnant was His Israel Rom 9:6God’s intent for the entirety of Israel, every single person, is to be a witness to the rest of the world. Already spoke on that, read the postsOh me, oh my.
Do you recall when Jesus , from his very own mouth said.
"But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” In case you dont know... He said that in Matt 15 vs 24.
Now....
Who is it you believe the lost sheep were?

of free-will then what came out of our Saviors mouth.
He knew not all would follow him . It was their choice after all was presented to them.
Just as a reminder. You are among the copy and paste guilty who obviously need reminded of things from time to timeAlready spoke on that, read the posts
Who is speaking and to whom are the words directed?Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
You not listening to me, Im finished with it. Paul was made a believer in Christ in being made an Apostle of His. And the same goes for all believers in Christ, even if they are not an apostle, they still are sovereignly made to serve His Body in some kind of capacity. The Spirit is sovereign in the assignment 1 Cor 12:18-30Who is speaking and to whom are the words directed?

The context shows Doug was correct.Thats false, God dealt in Salvation matters only with a remnant. Only the Remnant was His Israel Rom 9:6
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Generally that would be the faithful prophets, who were His witnesses, Like Isaiah, Jeremiah etc
They were the ones Isa 43:10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
The people in general persecuted them, they were Christs prohets Matt 5:12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matt 23 31
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
They the prophets for the most part were chosen witnesses Jer 1:5
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

The audience here is national Israel.
Isaiah 43:1–10 (KJV 1900) — 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, And he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; Neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 3 For I am the LORD thy God, The Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. 4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, Thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: Therefore will I give men for thee, And people for thy life. 5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, And gather thee from the west; 6 I will say to the north, Give up; And to the south, Keep not back: Bring my sons from far, And my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even every one that is called by my name: For I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. 8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, And the deaf that have ears. 9 Let all the nations be gathered together, And let the people be assembled: Who among them can declare this, And shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: Or let them hear, and say, It is truth. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, And my servant whom I have chosen: That ye may know and believe me, And understand that I am he: Before me there was no God formed, Neither shall there be after me.
