Revelation Bible Study Lessons

No I don't. The fact that you can't produce ANY verses that back up your claim, means that I trust you even less.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1

I don't know you from Adam. And I'm supposed to trust you? Nor do I know David Jeremiah. I've only heard him briefly on the radio. So I don't trust him either.

However, if you would admit that this number (1845) is a lie, I would at least have respect for you.
It was sarcasm, and it looks like it worked.

The Second Coming, also known as the Second Advent, is a term used in Christian theology to refer to the anticipated return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, and to establish God's kingdom in its fullness. It is believed to be a future event that will mark the culmination of human history and the fulfillment of God's plan of salvation.

Mt 24:30–31
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and beat their breasts and lament in anguish, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory [in brilliancy and splendor].…

Mt 25:31–46
When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats;…

Mk 13:32
But of that day or that hour not a [single] person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Lk 12:42–46
And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful steward, the wise man whom his master will set over those in his household service to supply them their allowance of food at the appointed time? Blessed (happy and to be envied) is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives. Truly…

1 Th 4:13–5:4
Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave]. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who…

Heb 9:28
Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting…

Re 22:6–7
And he [of the seven angels further] said to me, These statements are reliable (worthy of confidence) and genuine (true). And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His messenger (angel) to make known and exhibit to His servants what must soon come to pass. And behold, I am coming…

The book of Revelation is divided into three sections. At the beginning of the book, we are introduced to the world ruined by man. As we move to the latter half of the Tribulation period, we witness the world ruled by Satan. But as we come to Christ’s return at the end of the Tribulation period, we see the world reclaimed by Christ.

Reclaiming the earth, however, is not merely a simple matter of Christ’s stepping in and planting His flag. Before the earth can be reclaimed, it must be cleansed. You wouldn’t move back into a house infested with rats without first exterminating and cleaning it up. That is what Christ must do before He reclaims the earth. All rebellion must be rooted out. He must avenge the damage done to His perfect creation by wiping the rebels from the face of the earth.
David Jeremiah

You still don't want to admit that there are NOT 1527 OLD TESTAMENT references to the 2nd coming of Christ. You start your thread stating information that is false, that you got from David Jeremiah. Then in your last post, you again quote David Jeremiah, even though you have just proven that you can't trust what he teaches to be the truth. Apparently, you don't see the need to hold so-called Bible teachers accountable. It's one thing to tolerate Bible "teachers" who don't speak the truth. It's quite another to "advertise" his false information here on this forum.

David Jeremiah, Count It All Joy: Discover a Happiness That Circumstances Cannot Change

This is the fruit of dispensationalism. Even though D. Jeremiah cannot prove his false and exaggerated statement, Kenny ignores that, as if that makes no difference and then uses this forum to shamelessly push all of D. Jeremiah's articles. Now we see what Kenny's real motivation behind this post was, or at least what he's turning this into. A free daily advertisement for his idol, David Jeremiah. One look into D. Jeremiah's magazine tells you clearly who is at the center of his ministry - himself!
No thanks, I don't need any spiritual confusion from D. Jeremiah nor will I join his adoring fan club.
It appears that both D. Jeremiah and you want to tell us about what he and so many others were indoctrinated with at Dallas Theological Seminary, which was founded on Dispensationalism.

At one point, no one was allowed to graduate from that seminary, if they did not believe in dispensationalism. Even today, that doctrine is pushed on the students.
Jesus came to set us free, not to force us to believe in a man-made doctrine - in this case, the doctrine of John Nelson Darby. So this policy by the Dallas Seminary was totally unChristian and anyone who went there should have been able to recognize that. Again, we see the fruit of false doctrine.

Christ’s return will be amplified by a devastating spectacle that will make Hollywood disaster movies look like Saturday morning child’s fare. The world will see and recognize its rightful Lord and King. Whereas He came the first time in humility and simplicity, this time His glory and majesty will be spectacularly displayed for all to see.

Will the earth be judged at the end of the Tribulation?

At the close of the Tribulation, Jesus Christ will come again to judge the earth. He will reconcile His chosen people to Himself, and the reign of the King of Kings will begin. Everlasting righteousness will be brought in during the Millennium. The Temple will be anointed and the beauty of Jewish worship reestablished in the millennial Temple.

• Who is the Judge?
Matthew 25:31–33 tells us clearly that the Son of Man is the Judge presiding over the judgment of nations. John 5:22 tells us that the Father will not judge anyone; He has committed all judgment to His Son, Jesus Christ. Not only that, but the Bible says that Jesus will come with His holy angels to pour out His judgment.

• When is the Judgment?
The time of this judgment is well established by premillennial students of the Scriptures. It takes place when the Son comes in all His glory, so this judgment will be at the Second Coming. This is not the Rapture when Christians will meet Christ in the air, but the Second Advent, when He will come to earth and end the Great Tribulation.

• Where does the Judgment take place?
This judgment will take place on earth, not in heaven. Jesus will have returned to sit on His glorious throne, and “of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7). Jesus Christ will reign over the restored earth for a thousand years (the Millennium) in His kingdom, then over a newly created heaven and earth for all eternity.

• Who will be judged?
The judgment will be over all the unbelievers on the earth (Revelation 19:15, 20, 21). At this time, Christ will return to earth with His raptured saints to judge the unsaved and reign over the earth. Though He will have taken the believers into heaven at the Rapture seven years earlier, others will have come to believe in Him during that dreadful time called the Tribulation. All those who have believed in Christ during the Tribulation will also reign with Him for a thousand years.

Dr.David Jeremiah, The Prophecy Answer Book

There's no mention of a 7- year tribulation anywhere in the Bible. Nor does the Bible mention a "secret" rapture seven years before Christ's 2nd coming. There's only ONE rapture (which includes all mankind, past, present and future) mentioned in the Bible, which happens AT the 2nd Coming. Also the resurrection of all the dead, both the righteous and the unrighteous will happen at the 2nd Coming. John 5:28-29
Nor does the Bible mention a literal 1000 year reign of Christ here on earth. The 1000 years in Revelation 20 appears, as does most of Revelation, to be symbolic - in this case, it appears to represent the entire church age, from Christ's 1st coming at His ascension to His 2nd coming.
Jesus' 2nd coming is also called the Last Day. So it appears that there will be no more days after that - i.e. no 1000 years.
The reign of King Jesus ALREADY began, when He ascended to the right hand of the Father. Matthew 28:18
Everyone who is in Christ has everlasting righteousness now.
The idea of a Millennial Temple where Jewish worship is reestablished, is to blaspheme Jesus and what He did on the cross. Jewish worship doesn't sound beautiful to me. It was BLOODY and SMELLY with dead animal carcasses everywhere. The only beautiful part was when the presence of God descended on the Holy of Holies. But that could NEVER happen in a 3rd temple, because there's NO COMMMAND of God to even build another temple.
There's no conceivable chance that Jesus would approve of a New Temple in Jerusalem, since His sacrifice was sufficient for ALL PEOPLE for ALL TIME. The Jews may build a 3rd temple, but it won't be built under God's direction or commandment - if built, it would be an insult to Jesus and God.
1 Thess. 4 and 1 Cor. 15 make it clear that the rapture occurs at the SAME time as the 2nd Coming - the last Day.
I don't believe we know for sure where the Judgment of Christ mentioned in Mat. 25:31, will occur. It is conceivable that He will still be in the clouds with us, resurrected saints, while the present heaven and earth are burned with fire. There's no scripture that tells us that He will rule on a throne in Jerusalem. That would be a DEMOTION for Him, since He is NOW sitting at the right hand of the Father.
Matthew 25:1 tells us that the judgment will also take place at His 2nd coming. "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory" - NOT during or after a 1000 year period. Remember, the 2nd Coming IS the LAST DAY.
We are ALREADY reigning with Christ. Ephesians 2:4-6 "But God, being rich in mercy, ... even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ, ... and raised us up with Him, AND SEATED US WITH HIM IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus.
Prophecies in the Old Testament which appear to be about the Messianic kingdom, which the dispensationalists say is the Millennium, never mention 1000 years - they say His kingdom will be FOREVER.
So those prophecies are REALLY ABOUT HIS FIRST COMING - and He is currently reigning and will reign FOREVER.

When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.
Deuteronomy 4:30

Then you have the bible telling us the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months—The forty two months mentioned here are surely the last 3 1/2 years of this 7 year tribulation during which Jerusalem will suffer its greatest distress.

the 42 month or the 3 1/2 years is the Length of the TESTIMONY of the two wittiness, who is the Lord Jesus and John the baptist, which are the LATTER DAYS. and that tribulation was from within. see revelation chapter 11:1 and 2 for the understanding. meaning from the pharisees and sadducees who sat in Moses seat who resisted the teaching of the Lord Jesus, (God in flesh). this is the treading under foot for forty and two months. please understand.
