Personally I think the 2 witnesses are the sane 2 in the transfiguration, Moses and Elijah. The miracles they perform in revelation are the same as they did in the OT.

Enoch and Elijah = the only two witness who did not see death = Hebrews 9:27

There was a very specific reason why Moses and Elijah met with Jesus on the Mount.
