GOD allowed man to do this . IT WAS HIS PLAN in order to save those who DO BELEIVE IN CHRIST JESUS .
JESUS had TO DRINK OF THE CUP for oursakes .
Just as we too will have to drink of the cup given to us . AND THERE WILL BE A COST .
THE WILL and PLAN OF GOD was FULLFILLED IN THE SON .

My theology isn't thimble deep...... I've debated this subject for a very long time among talented people. It is rare that someone actually challenges me. I do learn things from time to time from all of you but my theology didn't just "blossom" yesterday.

God fooled Satan in taking action against Christ. There is culpability here in the forces of darkness that you're laying at the very feet of our Holy God.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you advocated the use of the KJV that uses the proper translation of chastisement instead of punishment.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." KJV
